OMG, this is getting ridiculous if you ask me! I don't know what is worse... the delay or the fact that SE does not find necessary to communicate it... what do you think? |

why are you taking what play says as fact? they are not a dedicated mobile phone outlet.

Hmmm.... moe bad bad news... M600i is already widely available, but SE-Store has updated to a July release... Don't even want to talk about P990i for now cos it has been pushed back to August 2006

As i said in a previous topic, what worries me is that the phone is apprently having software problems, hence the delay...well the M600i is not stable at all and that just be released, would hate to think how bad the p990 must be! |

I hope they just cancel the phone now before the loose more money on it. They should just prospone it till later and update its features, and re-release it once it is truely done.

I share your disappointment with the delay of the P990. But it really does show that SE don't have the massive development capacity of Nokia, remember they about 20/25% the size of Nokia.

Not only that ! SE has debt to repay to its parent companies. They have done a nice profit in the first quarter of this year but they aren't totally 'free' to decide where the money are going :-( . As I've said earlier, the P990 is nowhere near the 'flagship' model announced in the first post of this tread. They should cancel it, change the OS and specs where necessary and release a new model like in the P1000. The specs should be as least as good as the soon to be realised Nokia N93. I thought you know a lot about cellphones - the answer is no. No touch screen on the N93 - but on the other hand is using the most used operating system in a cell ! I am not going to argue with you Warez, but I will like a P-cell with a wifi 'g' standard better video and photo , stable os, a well developed user marked (software) - to name but just a few. I know this is a P990 tread and expect people like you to criticise my ideas, yet is fine with me aslong as Se come out with a device like that. Greetings from South Africa. mario
