@Ihe, so much 4 my predictions; lets see how Arsenal and Liverpool will fair today.
The first person with Vee settings should post it here.. Hope their gprs tariff will be friendly...anything cheaper than glo is ok.

Me thinks only MTEL can go lower than Glo. they may use Glo's tariffs as a "benchmark". That means very expensive MMS! |

vmobile sent me their 'gprs' settings and its CSD! Apparently the vee customer service guy I spoke with does not know the difference between gprs and csd. please!

Anyone who needs the new Vmobile CSD settings can visit http://gosmartmobile.com/vmobiledatasettings.shtml
I'll also have a full review of it there soon. I visited their WAP portal this morning and all it had was the vmobile logo!

@Angelgirl: Good to hear that you escaped the criminal element... Have to say though that I never had my phone stolen.

@AYA, From reports on today's Thisday the GPRS service is available under the Voffice bouquet while the CSD wap access is available under the Vactive bouquet. I called VEE's call centre and a chap asked me to get both settings from their site (www.vmobile-nigeria.com). I did that and only the CSD wap settings were available from the Vactive page; the Voffice page (that is supposed to have the GPRS settings) is still under construction. . Funny the dial up number of the CSD settings on Vactive web page could be wrong: +234 902 298 1000. I'll try to connect using the CSD settings you supplied on ur site and give u a feedback tomorrow.
Meanwhile, organise our inhouse search party to go look to Vmobile GPRS settings wherever. LOL

@brym!: Sounds interesting, but I have never understood the rationale of limiting gprs to contract lines. I doubt if the vee gprs platform is ready. My wife's line does not indicate gprs at all.

@AYA, I was able to browse briefly using the settings you supplied for Vmobile CSD. Your dial-up number is right. It appears vmobile has noticed the error on their web site and corrected it. No hope yet for Vee GPRS? Dial-up is damn expensive.
