Just guessing here, but:
L = Large (arc = LT15i)
M = Medium (neo = MK16i/MT15i)
S = Small (smultron/mango = SK/ST)
and for example:
MT15i = Touch, MK15i = Keyboard
R = ?, and the japanese numbers I dont even have a guess
