Hey Guys ...
Well looks like the K790i has finally been released in the markets. Well lets see how it compares to the K800i in terms of price and compatibility, as folks would still go with the K800i or switch over to the K790i as word has it that they fixed most of the probs which were in the K800i as well the firmware is way better ... i.e. better pics too ...
Well that's for all you to decide and time will tell ...

Is edge so important for y'all otherwise you can simple turn the K800 to only GSM if you wanna.

K800i doesn't have EDGE, not even in GSM mode. |

i will buy a k800 in the next weeks and i was wondering if you could point out some things i should check on the phone before purchasing ... on the exact phone i want to buy ....

allright, sorry if this have been asket before, i have used the search but with out luck.
Is it possible to play fullscreen videos on the k800, if it is possible, how good is the qual? I will get my k800 tomorrow

The K800i can play fulllscreen videos and the quality is very good if it is encoded right. |

At this stage you can only disable the shutter sound if your firmware is from a region that already has a silenced shutter in silent mode. Da Vinci allowed this alteration with the K750i line, and I would expect it to be possible if reflashing the phone to be able to select this option.

if you gonna use it on a K750.. bettah think twice... but with other new fons like K800.... i guess it would be alright....
