@moogoo
You could be right, but weibo users shared leaks in the past, the pic is blurry enough, imo it is certainly more reliable then the previous red compact fake leak. i wouldn't say not reliable at all.
@-XYZ
Because it is intentional. shitty pic = reliable early leak. |

@amirprog - XJ just showed us that the red compact leak is essentially the Z3 compact in orange. so that's not a leak. and sure, weibo may have been a source for leaks but so has esato. does that mean we should take anything from esato as a reliable leak? i don't think so. or nodarsixar would be the greatest insider known to the mobile tech world!
it is blurry because they don't people to pick out the details and say "that's not a z5.. that's a z1!"
it's like how every photo of aliens/ufos/bigfoot and the lochness monster are blurry. I could understand this 50 years ago when not everyone had a camera and even if you had one, it was manual focus on a film slr. But these days with the plethora of digital cameras and cell phones, there's no excuse for it. they are blurry cause they're meant to be.
a bit off topic but you get my point

You missed the important new info fellow. notice the source link - weibo user. he claims " Z5,9 month, Type-C" this most likely means that the pictured device is the next compact, 9 = september ifa announcement and type-c meaning it will have usb type-c. let's take it with a grain of salt but it seem reliable. Why do you think it's a Compact? |

Ricciolo just leaked more on Twitter about new Camera software. Can't post a screenshot unfortunately. Maybe someone else can.

@penguino
I wrote compact by mistake. i meant the main one.
@moogoo
Notice that i wrote that you could be right. i did not dismiss your speculation.
You don't need to convince me. i thought the that so called next (red) compact is fake from the beginning, in my eyes anyway because it seem like optical illusion and the next compact is rumored for ifa announcement so that most likely mean also a new design - and both the reds look to have the z3 compact ob design.
many devices first leak with blurry pics so the reliability of this info is a bit higher imo+weibo+info wrote in short to the point. what i meant to say is that the reliability of this leak is more believable then that red compact that looked fake from the beginning to me.
i don't think ufo's are good example because there are many many unbiased pics, filmed videos, interviews with people, documentary films, etc. all that convince me that they do exist. i have much more reasons to believe they exist then reasons to believe they don't. existing material is much stronger argument then if a material is blurry or not. it is close to impossible imo that it is all a hoax. that what my judgement says anyway.
i understand from this that you don't believe in ufo's. ok. but search for material on it, i think that as you find more and more material you will be convinced.

sounds promising, ricciolo is a good source.

What is with the bloody blurry-ass images?
This shit has been deliberately blurred. Font and images look so goddamn generic...
Maybe its real, maybe its not or maybe its to do with the Alpha Press Con tomorrow. Who knows. But these jackasses who post "leaked" images of stuff really need to get with the program and stop it with these ridiculous blurry images. They mean nothing and are virtually useless. |

I actually love the return of the old blurry spypic we used to see 7 or 8 years ago on here, when a few dozen of us would be squinting at our screens for hours before declaring excitement.
When leaks were real, taken in a hurry at someone's desk before their boss could see and then maybe even intentionally blurred further to cover the back of the person leaking.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

Yes, the screen is too big to be a camera. For anyone who didn't see it, it's on top of the image. It's very unlikely that he tweets about digital camera than smartphone

Yup, it looks like a smartphone to me too. What could the new sensor be?

^ I think the sensor that it uses is better than 21mp imx230. That explains why Sony didn't opted Imx230 on its flagship because they have a better sensor for themselves. |
