@ Mario, happy belated birthday, boet I assume that's part of the reason for the high number of text messages you received

So, who shall it be today, gentlemen? Sharks or Bulls?

My money's on the Sharks...
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

@kryptik: Hopefully the W902 is not too expensive, the reason I'm looking for a music phone is that buying the iPhone without a contract is bloody expensive...I'd rather be subsidised by Vodacom.

One thing I like about Manila is that you can buy just about any cellphone here...and they even have branded shops for Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

PS: I'm so out of the loop didn't realise that the Currie Cup final was happening today. I'm a all for WP but today I'll hope the Sharks pull one over the Bulls following their previous heartache brought on by that pesky Brian Habana.

So after reading some topic about batteries i decided to check how my N81 batt is, last time i did this was a few days after i got it. So i took off the charger at around 7am, went on the net for an hour and then went to an extra science lesson at school, on my way there i made a call then it sat in my pocket for 3hours then after that i sent a few sms and then got on to the net again (MXit, OperaMini and Web),its been like that for the past 8hours now, still has 4bars of battery left, in other words half empty (or half full ) and so its had 9hours of heavy internet browsing out of the 12hours it's been off the charger, not bad at all in my opinion, PhoNetInfo is showing 57% battery left. hmmm. . . Lets see when will it give the low batt warning, i say in another 3-4hours lol. My K850 would've been dead by now lol.

@ Gucci:
Dang, that's impressive battery performance for that amount of usage.

Well, I tracked down a very obscure CD in the US, for a relative. The company's name is CDBaby.
I received a shipping confirmation email from them last night... which is as off-beat as some of the CD's they stock, LOL.
Copied and pasted from the confirmation email:

"Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure
it was in the best possible condition before mailing.

Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Friday, October 24th.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sigh..."

LMAO, someone there has a warped sense of humour and some extra time on their hands; a recipe for creativity and originality.

@ gola:

LOL, a moment of 'reflection'...

Cue Star Trek narrator's voice: " To boldly go where no bedside lamp has gone before..."

Is Inspector Wanqa correct or should I start sipping the Budweiser a bit slower?

LMAO! that was hilarious and disturbing at the same time lol! I dont think its original though, it reminds me a lot of the Coca Cola 'Happiness Factory' ads lol! By the way the N81 died just a few minutes ago lol, im now forced to use this W880 with its painful keypad, cant blame me, it was either this or the annoying U700, my mum went out with the k850.
