coola, yahoo messenger or java chat clients can never work on ur mobile via glo without full internet account aka GLODIRECT.
You can try wapsites via pc with OPERA before using ur mobile phones
Brix, i wanna try this yamigo stuff, i do i get it?

Features like email,chat,web,ftp,etc all need either an internet (not wap) gprs connection or csd connection

@mamba: If you got anyone of those phones...there actually several more that I omitted than head over to www.yamigo.com...register, and use the simple instructions to get either MSN, Yahoo or AIM working on your phone via the built-in chat client.

ok, i'm goin to yamigo right now, I just hope it will work with a wap account cos i dont have full internet account.
I can now use my k700i to browse the web via PC internet connection and java webviewer....cool...... |

Glo added another feather 2 their red cap last week.U can now view ur last 5 bank account transactions from ur phone.

It was launched in February & activated March 1.A long list of banks r involved.It cost N40 for each viewing.Activating code is available at ur bank(if it is listed)

@ihe: Check this my bank sends me an sms everytime there's activity on my account either a deposit or withdrawl. Tells me the amount of money deposited/withdrawn or transferred with my latest bank balance...now that's a good service.

@brix,thts nice.Some banks also offer online banking.This Glo service is d 1st broad based gsm service tht allows subs 2 view transactns frm their phones via sms.It can b repeated as often as desired so far as phone credit is not in red.
