Cangrat. to us all for new driver

Anyway, i have some questions...

- About AE lock. When we use AE lock, we have to point the camera where the light is ok to lock AE with half press shutter. It mean that we can not use half press shutter to focus the real object we want to shoot right ? If not, how it can be done (lock AE and focus target object) ?

- About macro. Is it ok to turn macro on all the time ? With manual focus 1.1, i found it very useful for landscape and fast snap. But we have to press 4 and + before shooting. If we can leave macro on at the first place, it should be faster to take the quick picture, just one '+' away

But i wonder if turning macro mode on all the time even normal (not close-up) shot will harm the camera in long term usage. If it not, i will leave it on all the time, thx.

good point i was thinking about removing AE Lock maybe in 21.9...
about macro, i have it enabled all the time (and FINE quality setting)

EDIT:
i have an idea AE Lock will be enabled only when Macro is ON (super manual focus) because in this mode you can adjust focus manually
make it so in 21.9?

Hi everybody.
First post in this topic
i have a few questions
1) Why are you talking about some dirvers that are better for w810? the camera of k750,w800,w81o aren't the same) In that case which driver is better for k750@w800 RIBC002 FW?

@kriomag
2) i've tried a lot of drivers on my k750@w800 RIBC002, even the 21.8 from kriomag...great quality but i really don't manage to take a picture in ENM without gettin blurry..for me' it's just a waste of time taking pictures at night using a tripod or putting the phone in a surface...excelent driver although
I liked a lot the speed up in ENM from chengrong and specially paparazy.
Can you manage to do this great 21.8 driver with this ENM?

3) by the way i have the mxe-60 flash..wich driver you consider the best to take pics with it.

THX YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!

hi kriomag

currently i am using ur 21.8 in my phone k750i r1db001 cid49 r2b001
while am taking pictures with ENM(PQ=Fine & Night mode) in outdoors focusing to distance objects, it's taking toooooooooo much time and most of the times pictures are not saved i tried so many times but only one time i succeeded but that picture also took too long to save and the picture size is 625kb. i don't know this happens to me only. did u tested in outdoors but i saw the pictures u posted with ENM all are in indoors

any how other than this prob everything is working fine for me and i really like ur drivers is best suited for my camera
thanx for ur great and hard work

i'm glad you erased the CC function and SPOT from 21.8 ^_^
But again.. you should switch the normal/fine functions (we don't use EM and ENM that often)

why? with FINE you get fine pictures (EM/ENM etc) and with NORMAL you get normal pictures its logical

I've told you already: lets say we have 10MB left on stick. If we switch to normal quality, it shows us that we can take 20-25 pictures. IF we switch to fine mode, we notice that we can take only 14-15 pictures (less than with normal mode, cuz normally...fine is better quality:P . NOW even if you have changed the compression to 89% for normal and fine, it still thinks that you can make more pictures with normal quality. This "bug" is from the OS, and cannot be changed)
Sometimes it is crucial to know how many "positions" are left...
Like i sayd before, we use the ENM and EM about 30% or less a day, and no EN/ENM mode for the rest. I have it all the time switched to normla picture quality, and rarely i switch it to fine (to get ENM) cuz we take more pix in the daytime. it shows me 112 pix left in normal, and with fine... 87. that is 25 difference. If i take a picture in normal, it counts 1-2 pix, leaving 110.
This is like a bug that shows us we can take more pictures than we normally could (niiiice - or not? )
I hope you understood what i mean how about you guys?

@Kriomag

Today I didn't experience any crashes, so I think everything is ok... I noticed that the pics are a bit sharper then the ones with 21.6.
Great work man...

i think my problem is indeed a scratched up lens.. i know its just the transparent cover as someone mentioned, but i looked at old photos from when i got the phone, so of course stock drivers. and they were nice and SHARP.. now, even with stock drivers or any others, its always blurry/blotchy.. not at all like it used to be..

is there any way to replace the lens? or am i out of luck

i have the same problem with my w810i. in fact it's not really scratched... if you look closely, you will see that the plastic piece in discussion is covered by some transparent paint. That paint went off during your often attempts to clean it with some inappropriate material.

Anyway… what I am trying to tell you is that you can change that plastic cover very easy. After you take your back cover of the phone off, you should stick a needle or something very sharp underneath it to push it off. If you have another one from a dead old phone or something, you can replace it. Be careful though that no dust will get inside. The plastic piece should have enough glue on it so you could apply it as it is.

I found out about this on se-nse.com from max_wedge. He has a good experience with taking apart the k750 camera.
I gave up thinking about this but if you say that this affects the photos (i thought my eyes were wrong ), I will try to find one and replace it too. Good luck and thanks for your modings!
