Really looking forward to seeing hoe Comm(-unicater)rade Hobbski's E90 blog develops over the next few months.
Hope you didn't burn too much midnight oil last night fiddling with your new multimedia monster.

Thanks everyone again. My enthusiam for mobile devices has returned. Its all systems go again like when I owned my Sony Ericsson P990i.Can you remember how passionate I was when I owned that thing.

@Falcon-Dont be put off by the size.I manage to put it in my jeans pocket without feeling to much discomfort. The bulkiness is actually part of the charm for me.I'll bring in the P990i again. It was big, solidly built and heavy.Thats the one problem I had with the N95-2 from the moment I opened the box and picked it up.It was light and looked and felt so fragile that I was scared to touch it at first. It was then when I started typing on the keypad and using the soft keys that I realised that no matter how big a multimedia giant the N95-2 was, I would never be able to live with the feel and squeak of those keys (my keys squeaked) Maybe Gucci can enlighten you to the build quality of the N-series to the E-series.You cant compare the two when it comes to multimedia because the N95-2 will always kick the E90 in the chops ,but the fact that Im at peace with the build quality 100 percent is enough for me not to mind to much.

Nice going there Hobbs, i'm sure you'll have loads of fun pushing that baby to the limits! Some of the N95s i've handled have had the same squeaky-key syndrome, some more noisy than others.

Let us know, should you discover any shortcomings with your new precious. I have my eye on one of those as well.
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

I will do Kryps.Once I get some screenshots taken of Mobipocket Reader,I'll post them on the blog cause I know you are an avid reader and you'll enjoy this screen real estate. Its nice to know that theres a possibility some of you might join me in enjoying this device and getting one for yourself.I truly am bowled over.I even joined a 100% E90 Communicator group on Facebook lol Its such a pity that there are so many different little E90 groups instead of like one large dedicated group. Also I gotta start taking some pics so Wangs can run his critical eye over them.lol

Yep, indeed the Nseries have average and some below average build quality, whereas Eseries get the metals and leather with great build quality. One of the clips in my N81's back cover broke off a few days ago and now its back cover is a bit creaky but not loose. Compared to a N95 the E90 is a tank.
Gola
Flip thats a nice pic bro!

Great stuff Hobbs! .
Kyle bro if you are here, i see what you mean about the N81's cover being easy to remove. I was able to take off the plastic slab thats under the screen, the one that consists of the Media Keys, Dpad/navi wheel, soft keys, etc. . . I actualy like the way NOKIA did it, it took me just 2mins to carefuly remove it. The plastic used on these newer Nseries (N78, N79, N81, N85, and N96) is so strong and flexible, my N81 10-11months later looks better than what my W900 did after 10months. Many dont like this design and plastic but those are the very people who havent owned the N81 or any other Nseries with this design for over 6months, its very smart of NOKIA to use these materials, you can easily replace the whole keypad, screen cover, gaming keys, and battery cover without much fiddling. Im so confused on how the navi wheel is touchsensetive though? When i removed this slab the dpad came off with it like it was a normal dpad, and theres no exposed contacts for dpad, realy weird, anyway ive just cleaned the whole under part of it put it back and its as good as new.
