heh heh got it at last, took ages to get to scotland, nice to see seemingly better reception now as at home i only ever got 2 bars with corresponding worse battery performance, jumped by 2 bars so we'll see eh?
camera does seem very slightly slower to start but other performance more than makes up for it:)
lots of talk in this thread about various numbers in the firmwares, does anyone fancy putting all this info into a list with explanations for each variation? surely se must have such a list?;)
its been interesting watching the fw spread about the globe tho, hope everyones got it now

hi everyone,

I went to SEUS several times today and it said my phone is up to date.
I went there now, and it downloaded the f/w.
Problem is, when it finishes downloading and asks me to unplug the phone, shut it down, then plug it pressing the "c" key on the phone, it remains that way.
It seems as if it doesn't detect that I've reconnected the phone...

Is there any solution for that?

edit: nevermind, i had to uninstall the driver and reinstall it. my k750 is updating as we speak
Thanks.

I have encountered a problem with new firmware R1N035.
when transfering files from other phone to mine it dont let me get the files, but from mine to other phone works perfect
i checked all security options of the blueetooth and it seems to be a problem.
Anybody have this problem too?

anyone else notice, when you open the lens cover, the viewfinder is slower to load up than R1L?

Yup.. slight delay.. it kinda shows a very dark crimson screen before the camera comes on. But no major issue on that.

Some users have posted that previously there were issues on charging the phone using the USB cable. Instead of charging, it would seem to drain the battery faster. Some users did report that charging did occur but very slowly but only if the battery level was lower than 80% or something like that.

On R1L, I also had issues with USB charging.

Now with R1N035 installed, here are my findings:

Battery was at initally at 69%. Left it charging. Didn't keep track of how long (probably 1/2 hour later) when I checked again, battery level did hit 90% but a while later dropped to 86%.

So, I think the new firmware does address, in part, some of the issues of USB cable not charging the phone properly. However, it seems like a full charge is not obtained but it does charge quicker.

Anyone else can confirm/correct this?

It's strange, when i tried to update mine before the R1N was available for me, SE told me that i have the latest FW but asked me if i wanna go ahead and flash again my phone with the same FW or not.

Hi Guys,

This whole turning the phone off then holding 'c' on the phone then connecting the USB again..what is supposed to happen? The first time I did this my PC found a USB Flash Drive, however it couldnt find the proper drivers to install it, I have gotten the drivers both off the CD and the SE website. Are the drivers elsewhere?

I can also confirm that the CDA is the problem in the update part as mine is 102338/55 R9A and it still detects R1L as being the latest.

Any help regarding the USB problem is appreciated...

go to CONTROL PANEL-SYSTEM-HARDWARE-DEVICE MANAGER-USB CONTROLLERS and with your phone plugged in uninstall k750 usb driver, then you select update driver where you see a yellow circle and choose to select yourself the path , and select k750 usb update driver from se from the place you extract it

I am about to try this again one more time b4 work this morning....

I have asked repeateteadly to see some photo of a K750i bearing this elusive update but it would seems no one has the will to shows this...

Untill I see this I wont believe for a second there is a R1N anything out on SEUS UK for all O2 handsets...

Someone is smoking some serious stuff around here and is not sharing it either...

@GeKoX

I get that message too of would I like to update with same firmware?

I tried that with my First K750i that was returned on tuesday and the update was for R1L002 not R1N035 or whatever it apparently is supposed to be.

Do you experience bugs like the one I reported??

I dont believe this R1N035 is out yet at least for myself and a few others...

I just tried now and got the usual already up to date nonsense would I still like to flash it anyway because of the pleasure of flashing for the sake of flashing message...

I give up.... for a while... In 9 days if a new firmware is not relesed I will return the phone has it displays serious bugs with R1L002 [addsig]
