Hello boys and girls! I just got home from the Palm m130 & m515 product launch at the Intercon. There was alot of people from the press and others. I didn't win anything.... sayang hehehe cuz there was 1 m130 & 1 m515 raffled. There was alot of food and drinks... even a band (of course there was a product demo).
I would just like to share something... I think that SE Phils. should do something similar when they formally launch the T68i. Since it would be their first phone to carry the new brand, they would have to think of ways to make the brand know to the Phils. consumers. We all know our phones are a class of their own but the rest don't even know what they are missing out on.
If SE decides to do such a thing... sana they invite us and RAFFLE! RAFFLE! RAFFLE a T68i.... hehehe... but on the serious side... More Filipinos appreciate the brand Sony (as a whole... electronics.. etc.) rather than Ericsson but with the two names together in a single phone... it might do wonders for their sales here if they launch it right.
Well this is just my opinion...
Comments anyone?

(by the way... I am still deciding if I should go PPC or Palm... I used to have a m515 but because of this launch.. it makes me think again... maybe I will wait for Palm OS5... hmmmm..) |

@dan47 I am a mapalad member (its a Phil. Palm user group) I got an invitation.
But I am actually not that active anymore since I sold my m505... I'm still deciding to either got PPC or remain Palm

@flipperds: I was thinking of that, too. It's like how Nokia has all these print and tv ads about their new phones all the time, and people have their slogans memorized, i.e. "You'll want it." or "Walk on the Blue side"...and I'm sure we'll all know which phones those slogans refer to. If only SE could advertise more, I'm sure people will realize how much of a better buy it is...
I'm considering getting an m505...did you ever have problems with it?

@yiz19: I totally agree with you. With regards to the m505... I never had any problems. The local product support from microwarehouse is also very good. I suggest you get a second hand m505 na lang cuz there is already a newer model... the m515. The reviews of the m130 is also very good. |
