Does submerging the phone underwater or even a splash damage/affect the lens coating on the rear camera?
I've read over at xda that the camera coating, anti-glare is pretty fragile and damages easily. |

C'mon. Water doesn't destroy such material.
It gets destroyed by keeping it without any cover in the pocket.
Mine is crystal clear.

Sorry, I don't have any info about that anti-glare coating, what it is made of so I'm a bit worrying. Anyway thanks.
By the way, do you guys recommend putting a screen protector on the back of z2 or a case will suffice?

The battery of the Z2 is great but is it only me who notices that the cell signal eats up too much battery. I mean in my old xperia sola, I can leave it for hours on gsm and will have no change in battery, probably 1-2 percent but for the Z2 it takes about 5-10? |

I have mine updated. It is faster but I think battery has decreased. On 5.02 I can have it for 2 days. Now I charge it everyday because after a day it only has 30+% unlike before when I still get 50% and one more thing, it heats up more frequently unlike on 5.02. It's not that hot but I'm still not used to it.
I'm also not sure if it is just the airplane mode that the charging time is faster.
But I like the landscape mode which was not available on 5.02

You say battery life is worse?
Interesting. Maybe you just played your phone more?
It became a habit that after few days the batt life settles down...
Let us know after some time if it stays worse or not.
For me it's quite important since I just LOVE battery life on Z2.

I'll give an update then next week
btw, I only have casual games right now, I don't think it's the cause of the heat
But it's buttery smooth.

I checked the screen on-time of my phone and did some math. I think with light apps like browsing the Web, on 5.1.1 it will last for approximately 400 minutes or 6.7 hours with screen on. |
