Tkao, I imagine that the 6681 lasts longer at the moment as it is a newer phone and the battery is newer, but saying that, the other thing to remember is that phones such as the Nokia 9500 have 262K colours, but to compensate the processor speed has been purposely lowered to give outstanding battery life, even after using wifi and BT. Also you may find that a newer 6681 handles running processes much better, plus the power usage of any inserted memory card. I have a 6680 but I haven't really used it alongside my 910 at the moment, so cant see if there is an even comparison or not on battery life.

There's no doubt that the P910 still has a great screen. The point is on battery life. For example, I have Profimail on both and if you set it on automail retrieval, the P910 lasts, if lucky, a full day while the 6681 lasts 2 days. That's my experience with it.
Agreed that the 6680/1 is a newer device and that the 9500 is slower than the p910 as I have the 9500 as well. Thus this is why I'm really excited about the new P-series phone. I'd imagine it will still have the great form factor, fast processor speed, screen, and hopefully (fingers crossed) a better battery life.

this better be good man , serious, been with p900 since it came out.
still got it now, the camera ,aint doin me any more, im grabbin my mates phones for photos nowaddays |

You will have to wait until the end of the year at least until it arrives I think as it takes SE a long to release phones when they have been announced and this hasnt even been announced yet.

SE is fast compared to all the other phone manufacturers in terms of releasing phones after being announced - this is why i am not too worried about how long it will take even though my p900 is dying. |

yeh,, my p900 is literally dyin,,, seriously,, it can pull off the average power hungry tasks no more...
i know i could reset it to fix this,, but i cant get rid of all my data, lots of stuff their i need..
wanna get the next p then it will be so new that u cant bak it up on pc then send em back to new p1000,, cuz da phone is gonna be a complete neeeeeeeeew 1..
yeh, its true about the lauch of things with sony,, look at ps3, psp for the uk... real late ppl...
it dont matter cuz wen dey com out u wont need anythin else for ages,..
my p900 has been with me 2 years ppl,, its kickin anus still.. ppl still say wow. touch screen ,,massiv screen and stuff..
just need da new one.. oh yeh

Motorola just came out with a new smartphone today that looks like a blackberry device. I hope SE follows soon with an announcement of their own, as everyone has announced new smartphones except for SE. |
