you have a 3 litre can and a 5 litre can, you need to have exactly 4 litres in the 5 litre can. How? (You are near a fountain with unlimited water, if that rings a bell! ;-) )

hmm... take the 3 litre can and put it inside the 5 litre can, and fill it up, then slowly pull the 3 litre can out so u get 2 litres in the 5 litre can... then do it again... and u get 4 litres!
