gurus,
what is the gprs configuration of Smart's Edge???This would be applicable to Edge capable phones like NOkia 3200, 6220 and 6230.
Please help!!!!!!Since wap over gprs of Smart is slow and erratic recently especially during weekends, using edge would be a very nice alternative.
many tnx.

Questions:
1. How can I configure my email settings in 7650?
2. Is it even possible with smart?
Thank you. |

may i know if the configuration posted by arnoldc in the first page of this thread is still valid, especially for k700i?
btw, is it possible for smart gprs to get pop3 emails sa prepaid?

any update of the smart gprs and wap settings? especially sana sa se k700i. ang labo kasi instruction sa smart website (ex. http://www.smart.com.ph/SMART[....]rvices/Data/AV_Text_Gprs.htm). wala naman yung list sa sinabing "Please refer to the list below on the different configuration on phones and other devices" doon. |

the OTA settings for SMART are all valid. in arnoldc's example, just replace the 'T68' in the SMS messages with your handset model, i.e., K700. for nokias, 'N' precedes model no., e.g., N7650.
to download settings, send the ff msgs to 211:
SET GPRS K700
SET MMS K700
SET INTERNET K700
after saving settings, send the ff msgs to 333 to activate:
GPRS ON
MMS ON
INTERNET ON
you need to use the INTERNET settings/acct for POP mail. i presume it is available for prepaid as well but you can call SMART to be sure. |

The OTA settings listed here for the K700/K750i doesn't seem to be supported by Smart anymore.
It should be:
SET MMS SEK750i
SET GPRS SEK750i
SET INTERNET SEK750i
