Did you charge your battery for 14 hours on the first charge? Trickle charge does help to increase battery charge. Also I use Sman which helps to minimise unwanted battery sapping background applications. |

It's all a load of bollocks.
It's like any multi-million/billion pound company (money money money etc...) they have a go at you for being 5 minutes late! I nice ask you. Then you work overtime and you don't get credited for it. Tossers.
Anyway, my P900 - where is it? I want it now. I've been waiting three weeks now (almost).
AAAAAAAAAARGH!

Has anyone had any new info from OSPS in light of the fact that other suppliers appear to have recieved stock of the p900 from orange?

JAH...
Yep, charged 'im for well over 15 hours, nearer 20, just to make sure... let it go totally flat yesterday, and charged it over night for around 11ish hours...
(oh, and it did have a little top up in between once when I linked it to the computer, but that was just me testing whether I needed the power on to do this ?:-) and was for 15-30 mins at most when the phone was below half... silly me!)
It has been on for around 8 hours now, and battery is at 94%... though that has been mainly on standby, only used once or twice briefly (once at a CPW that didn't have any, just to rub it in and get disgruntled looks!)
I do fear though that the CPW where I bought it from, may have used it prior to me having it... since I discovered a couple of pictures of their staff on it, unless this was something they do to welcome new customers ->-<... although all of the accessories were still sealed, and the screen cover was intact (it didn't look like it had been off since there were no bubbles in it... like there is now until I get a proper protector)... are they supposed to check them before passing them on?
I will keep an eye on it, and they will have it back if it proves overly problematical

There should be a seal on the bag that the phone comes in inside the box, but lots of phones get "played with" a tiny bit, it seems they forgot to master reset it, check the call list to make sure it was not used for calls,
it is not going to be a big deal though if a couple of pics were taken with it, maybe you could email the pics to head office to show the photographic evidence of who was on duty when the "Crime" was commited.

I have to wait - no upgrade available for me yet on T-Mobile (fancy a network change anyway).
Soon, I'll be the only one left waiting for OSPS - everyone else will have cancelled and gone elsewhere...

I have no idea mate, only on a crossnet 200 tariff. Just called Voda back and the woman i spoke to could not believe the price either, that is when worry came over my face. I thought sheeeeet, have just cancelled with OSPS, dont want to join the end of the cue. I asked her to check but she advised that the woman i had spoke to was in a different call centre. She then assured me that she would try to find out for me and call back.
Phew, she has just called me back and confirmed that the order has gone through for £16. She advised that she did not speak to the woman but the worksheet/order nuber was now on her system. She said that the price i got was amazing and that the cheapest she could do it was £200 +. She also advised that i was speaking to the promotional department and they sometimes have no limits. Probably due to me wanting my PAC code.
Am happy again, have stopped sweating!!! God, had to ask the woman 3 times are you sure it's a P900. Yes she said!!! LOL |

Wo wo wo, hold ya horses!!!
Spoke to OSPS today also, they advised that the phones were being received today at their head office and will be dispatched within as couple of days. They also advised that the software issue had now been fixed.
This would probably make sense(hopefully) as more P900's are becoming available within other networks. Well least you have all moved up a place as i cancelled this afternoon, look on the bright side!.
Well i hope i am not giving you all false reassurance, but good luck anyway.
Am just glad Voda are delivering mine before 10 am tomorrow.
