R5C hehe, that's nice!

I have languages as follows: swedish, suomi, norsk och english.
So maybe that's the difference between the little number "3" and "4"... if not... atleast I have the higherst number! hehe (just messing with you)

When my battery is fully charged it 300 or over.
This is much better than I had before (with my r1b software) (yes, I had r1b before this software )
Before I had 250-270 when the phone was charged.
I charge when the phone is off, maybe this gives better performance?..

I noticed one new thing with the new software, that I haven't posted yet.. or you epedemic.

There's a new "low battery" warning sound.
Quite pleasant actually..
It doesn't sound every second like the old one did.. (allright, every ten minutes then)..
.. And I think that it doesn't sound at all, when the sound is turned off... don't quite know really.
I wanted to try it now, but my phone just died, so well have to wait 300 hours to try it out.

I actually noticed the low battery sound yesterday... Its good.. The old one sounded too much like the old sms click sound so i thought i got a sms when the phone in fact was saying low battery... But all in all its a welcome feature like most of the other new stuff... :-)

john74> It is officially out, what I know of.
The service centers are just waiting to get the right stuff.
Apparently, there's one service center in denmark who's got it.

...so funny! I read somewhere someone is waiting for the R2D2 upgrade!!! Ha, ha, ha...

I just got home 15 min. ago, but just this post reg. bat. time... charged this morning mine said 315 hrs. standby, which I guess is ok. But... I actually think the bat. issue may be in the screen?!

We should test this out?!

I'll try putting my contrast down, but my screen seems to suffer quickly (turn pretty dark) from this...

My friends T68i had a serviceconfig. setting -2 on the contrast. Mine was at zero. I know I messed around with this before... but I know he hasn't, as he just got the phone and also don't know how to go into the service menu... so I must presume this is the 'initial' setting for the T68i!!!

Also his display seems somewhat brighter... at this 'lower' setting, and may, for all practical purposes, use less power! Any comments?

It could very well just be my crazy imagination flying away with me, but seems like a possibility... I'll try to compare the screens at different settings, next time I see him.

Anyway,

my SW 'also' says:
R2B025
prgCXC125323 and I do have English, Danish, Dutch and French lang. vers.

Yesterday I synced my outlook and T68(i) ... nice to have all my +300 contacts back in the phone. I did, however, have to uninstall/install the XTND software for outlook (R3A package1!!!), to use it.

Maybe this is the R2A -> R3A upgrade all of you 'knuckleheads' are talking about?!?!?!

Just a thought!

Nighty, night

Mine said 311 hrs. standby time this morning... and yes, I think it may be the battery wearing down. Remember, 'WE' have had our phones for a while now.

I must have been on drugs regarding the screen thing... played around with it and doesn't seem to make much different on the charge... I'm back to +2 in the config. menu and zero in the main menu, to get a decent view of the menues.

But you never know? Maybe made some hardware changes?

Later!

P.S. Got the MCA-20 communicam... haven't really tested so much, but sent a picture to one of my friends at work... he said it was quite good... gotta check my mail later tonight, when I get home. NICE!!!

The display is brighter after the upgrade.
My friend and I compared displays once (before I had the upgrade), and it was the same.
Then after the upgrade, we noticed that my screen was much brighter than his.
We set the same backrgound pictures, and then checked contrast settings. His contrast was higher than mine, so we set it to same contrast. And the white in the picture, turned sort of yellowish on his phone, and on my phone it was crisp white

So, my conclusion is that the display gets brighter after the upgrade.
