@jim - Well, I think you are a good one too. A perennial visitor/poster at esato as well . . . . Do you think that having 6 mods here is good enough for it's 32K ++ members? Though we are not having a 100% 'occupancy' at any given time . . . What's your take? My friend someone, might just recognize that we are starting an 'off-topic' replies again ? ? ? Yeah I'm feeling old here  . And for the mods I think that they are great, everytime I see a topic that should be deleted or moved they do it in the minute. Can't really say if we need another mod or not, maybe for the next poll ....
Where do you live to be 8 in the morning ? Oh well It's 1 am for me, I need some  so see ya, had a good time.

Good z....Nights! sleep well  well at least we know that laffen doenst seem to trust vlam asmuch as mass. i mean.. he got the mod status aftr about 3 paged campaign.  anyway, if anyone still voting here i'm in! vlam for mods! if needed be, i'll create an Esato Political Party with Vlam as pres... er... Moderator! vlam, speech please? |

@znights - I definitely will vote for @vlammetje - 100%. What I really liked about her is her being strict - I guess most of the time (speaking from the threads we've encountered), with a 'motherly' touch as well, specially the way she treats @lozishere in one of the ongoing threads inside. Frankly, I think @laffen will certainly need a 'female' mod here at esato - eventually, when one of the actives 'retires' @vlammetje can be the 'instant/automatic replacement. Just like in school (primary/secondary/tertiary) - it has been a standard move to choose a 'lady' teacher right (here in Manila that is the trend, ever since education was introduced by the Spaniards/Americans in the 17th century). So I guess, esato, is just like a class with so many 'untamed' (count me in - at times only) pupils. I remain . . . |

I don't think you can 'know' anything based on your reasoning. If laffen made his decision to appoint moderators based on votes he would initiate the voting threads himself at a time when he felt he needed a new moderator, wouldn't he?
As I understood it I was already being considered prior to the voting threads though perhaps they helped to bring the decision more quickly to its conclusion

retires? I would certainly hope not! I think the Esato team in it's current form is doing a great job
I still don't see why the aspect of being male or female gets so much emphasis  why does it matter so much?

@vlammetje - That's where the saying/word 'feminine touch' comes in. In a situation where a kid is at fault, who do you think will scold the kid first - Dad or Mom? And who will be the one who will protect the kid? You're answer is as good as mine.

well, i am sorry if i offend you. i am preety new here and i guess i still have much to learn. anyway, i keep hearing that there are 6 mods here. i know masseur is one (his is almost in every page i viewed, so, it is not diffifcult to see someone post the info.) who are the rest? i don't know if jim is a mod.. though it seem like he is. |
