| Ericsson Communications Suite version R4A links have been added to the list. See the first post.
Some improvements i have noticed so far:
1. PBTM is now able to read SIM entries and not screw up.
2. Date sorting on SMS Inbox has been fixed (it used to treat the dates as characters before)
3. XTND Connect PC can now Sync via Ir on Windows XP. |

greetings,
i can syncronize my t610, but non of my software will correctly sync my SMS folders!
Best results i have with this Programm
"Old Packet #2 for use with official manager (included) V R4A
This packet provides the official "Contacts and SMS manager" and is intended for users that don't have Outlook or other similar software."
He read SMS in the computer, i can see from my computer how much place i still have, but when i will read the folders "postin" or "postout" none of my SMS will shown! I Think this Program is not correctly compatible with the t610 !
Anybody an idea?
The Programms with outlook sync do not funtion for SMS ,-(
thanx
Tschuy

i install mpm first than the comm suite.

I have developer firmware. It is not a matter of flashing it/upgrading it. It uses slightly different software tables. You must send the phone off to Ericsson saying that you are employee or something and want your phone upgraded... I'm an aesthetic consultant in ericsson, so basically got a free unstable phone... don't know if that will work but u could give it a try! ... i have beta testing firmware, i believe that is what is known as dev. f/w
best of luck with your endevours

@arnoldc
I've seen that others have problems to with XP. I removed q328310 and it worked.
I would like to have the SMS function in my office xp, but the first post only gives a link to a "package 1" ?? This does not give a sms function. I then tried to get an old package 4, but that screwed up my system
Can anyone help me? All in all im looking for a way to: change the contacts, edit phone options - AND send SMS from the pc.
You can also find me on ICQ: 149301594
Thanx in advance

Windows env:
-Windows XP Pro
-Office XP premium
Cellphone:

-First make sure you uninstall Windows fix Q328310
-visit www.sonyericsson.com
-select "Europe" and "Uk&ireland"
-Click "Support"
-Click "Global Product Support"
-Type "T65" (the software works with T68(i))
-Click on "T65" below the line
-Under "Software" click "Synchronization"
- here you find:
(copy from site):'
-----------------------------------------
Full Functionality for Outlook users
If you want to edit the phone settings and the phone book, be able to send SMS from Outlook and to synchronize contacts, calendar, and tasks between a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and Microsoft Outlook, this package is needed.
Full Functionality for non Outlook users
If you want to edit the phone settings and the phone book, be able to send SMS from the text message manager and to synchronize contacts, calendar, and tasks between a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and any popular PIM (Personal Information Management) application.
Medium Functionality for Outlook users
This package is for those that want to edit the phone settings, be able to send SMS from Outlook and to synchronize contacts, calendar, and tasks between a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and Microsoft Outlook.
------------------------------------
I can recommend the "Full Functionality for non Outlook users". This program is "stand-alone" and will not f**k up your Office Outlook.
I tried the pack that plugs in to Outlook - and it works ok, but I still likes the "Full Functionality for non Outlook users" better - a nice little program...
Hope you can use this info

Anyone here successfully use PBTM to work with T610.
I tried that, it can detect phone and display the sychonization dialog box...the problem is when everything done, no phonebook and SIM contents display but it can send SMS.
PBTM work prefectly with my T68i but not my T610.
I am using the R4a Package2 ,R4APackage2.exe
thanks.. |

I am in the process of upgrading my phone synchonization software.
Read messages here and there but the more i read the more confuse i am.
The question is
Can T610 be used to send SMS under Outlook. I find this is a cool feature that I need it most.
I have the package 1.5.7 installed but the stupid software just give bare minimum sychonization support, nothing more than that.
Features like the old PBTM will be great..
Or is there any package that support both phones t68i & t610 .
Any kind soul please help.. |

for "drag and drop" styled interfaces, you're out of luck.
you can try XTNDconnect that synchs with your MS outlook (full version), or SE's Phonebook Text Message Manager, or fMA (and its synch feature)
can't connect to the pc? you need to setup your bluetooth to a virtual com port - how it's done specifically varies from one software/hardware to another.
(hmm ... how's shoemart? )

But when I try to send a picture via bluetooth i can send it to the pc. What should be done?
