huge improvement over the previous Z lineup, their selective image sharpening works well in most shots and cleaned up most the artifacts from previous algorithm. However, always feels like Sony is trying to push the camera too far with the tiny sensor they got. When looking at those photos in full res they don't don't look like they are meant to be for 23MP. Should be been a 18MP with the same sensor, without going full res and viewing the photos on a 1080p screen here they are far closer to the competitors than ever. Low light results are not surprising, OIS and F1.9 and F1.8 lens should definitely give G4 and Note 5 the advantage here. Video wise its the champ.

IMO these camera samples are looking terrbile. 
Note 5 is a lot better. |

do agree those Z5 shots compare to note 5 are terrible, but the one from 3c.talk is much more focus and sharper than the shots from eprice.

eprice shots are suspected to me , always note 5 has closer scene, obviously it will has more detail , but we already noticed z5 goes to higher iso and short exposure due to lackness of ois and higher aperture , it cant be helped
note 5 or g4's pixels will capture a lot more light(1.5x-2x i guess) then z5 sensor in these situations.
maybe it's early to judge but sony missed train again...
if you want to take better photos then other phones with z6 , implement f1.8 lens and ois at least , then make better algorithm...
this tree shot is comedy.

black, contrast and brightness is pretty impressive there for Z5P. Just hope there won't be any panel lottery.......

hope their QA is good then, still pretty impressive how Sharp isn't expected to have these ready for mass production until next year but they are ready now with Sony. I thought they don't have their own lcd manufacturer anymore atleast for tv panels. |

I am impressed by the Xperia Z5 Premium's display.
It looks very close to the contrast level of Note 5.
The LG G4 is way behind with more muted colours and blueish tint. I used to think the G4 had a good display.
