I have downloaded a couple of wallpapers for the Elm. When I transferred these wallpapers to my phone and saved it in the Pictures folder of my Micro SD, some pictures are appearing as camera pictures in the Media gallery. Hence, there are folders like May 2007 appearng in media gallery in the camera pictures. When using the files explorer of the phone, the pictures are indeed saved in the pictures folder and not the camera folder. Updating the media files in the settings of media gallery doesn't help. Anyone has an idea why this is so? It's a simple issue but it is really annoying me. |

Another question, Is there any way in increasing the handset volume of the Elm while in a call through some modifications to the phone? I find the in-call volume of the Elm rather soft. |

If you use the clear voice function with noise shield off its loud and clear but with it on its rather softer

Thanks Bono, I have both clear voice and noise shield turned off. Turning on the clear voice has an effect also on the in-call handset volume so that I can hear the person I am talking to much clearer? 
(edit: I thought clear voice only results in improved call quality in the other side of the line)

This is weird. I thought Elm only has 256k screen colors. But when I checked Gsmarena and  's website. It sez it has 16m colors. Is there a new batch of Elm phones with such rich colors? or maybe available via update? Pls enlighten me  |

I thought so too, maybe they made a mistake in revising the page just like when they named it K970.

How about the camera issue (a blue line appear in the photos taken low light conditions) ?
its look like firmware bug...

Tried modding the acoustics driver of the Elm in order to increase the earpiece volume during a call. The file named handset_0_call from Hiron's driver does not work. I totally lost my earpiece volume. Had to re-flash the phone. Anybody here has a working acoustics driver with working handset_0_call file for the Elm? |

hiron's handset_0_call works on Elm.
I'm using it since she made it.
You just have to turn on both Clear Voice and Noise Shield.
Try it, if you still aren't sure then wait till i upload Elm's original handset_0_call.wbxml so you can overwrite the modded one and back to the default wbxml without the need to reflash your phone again....
