How can you say that yet, i havent seen any in depth screen shots of the aino, such as messaging etc, seems like typical A200 to me with an updated media and a nice flash theme. |

It's still A2... Maybe because the security is still DB3210? Still can be accessed with A2uploader, I thought
Err... Does it has Clear Audio or not? Front page says it has, but in hands-on, we only see "Equalizer" and "Stereo Widening", can someone clarify this? I already ask this question before...

So
Is there an API built-in for third party programs to utilise the touch-screen?
Or did they really stuff up and leave it out?
If they make everything touchable this could be the perfect phone for me, but only making the Internet Browser touchable or atleast letting other programs use it's Touch screen is acceptable as well |

Please help me get this straight- this phone is PHYSICALLY ABLE to use it's touch sreen for basically anything including multitouch??? Tell me how hard would it be to make the software to run this? It's not like se would be the first to try such a feat...
Don't get me wrong though, I love this phone in other aspects, although one more con I'd add would be the screen resolution...
edit: oops-somehow missed Mizzle's post. But still- does anuone know about multitouch? Still not going to beat the iphone screenwise, new gen to have double the 3g's resolution- when will the iphone bullies stop picking on me??

If Aino is still A2, does that mean that the WM player of A2 phones such as the w995 can be updated to v4?

That was pretty much a given when we found out that it was A2 I think. If this means that the newA2 look could go to phones such as the W995 then I would humbly accept that. So much that i might reconsider a W995 again. Oh this is really hard now to choose a phone. SE has never compelled me so! |

In theory, they could. But we all know won't.

They rightfully shouldn't update the software on the W995 one of the phones of the year? Yeah okay...Seriously now if they do not which i bet they will then loss for them and for us. But bigger for them. The phone would look outdated. |

A beauty indeed. BUT SE MUST either give it full touch OR give it a redesign and move that d-pad to the top slider, doubt the latter would happen. I would love to meet the people who thought of limiting the TS AND put the dpad underneath,im pretty sure they are laughing their arses off at the potential buyers RIGHT NOW! I know i would be.
Absolutely genius.
What they are doing now is trying to see how much SE Fans can take before they leave, i bet one of them is reading this very thread with a huge grin and thinking "OMGee!! They're falling for it!! They will never learn, hehe. . ."
Lol,anyway its a realy beautiful phone, an absolute stunner, but i can see a lot of: "If ONLY they made this screen full touch!" coming from the very people who say its fine the way it is when it isnt, make it full touch and give people variety is what i think they should have done, but this is Esato so NO thats a terrible idea, variety? PSSH! Who needs it,let SE decide how i must use it.

This supposedly is a japanese design extensively used in japan. Lets see how it works out for the,, if it does. |

Seriously? So their phones in Japan have limited touchscreen? The whole dpad being underneath wouldnt be a big deal if they made the screen full touch. I mean HONESTLY now with such a nice large screen would you rather have to open the slider EVERYTIME you wana navigate? Or would you rather have the CHOICE to use the full touchscreen AND OR open the slider? I always had this realy crazy thought in my head that people like to have a choice, but i guess that was just me. DAM IT!

The idea of having to open the slide everytime you want to properly use the phone is just not on. I also think it should've been a full touchscreen. Similarly with the d-pad underneath, what was the thinking behind this design?
Normally, I would say let's wait and see but this beauty of a phone is crippled that I don't see how it would work without annoying the hell out of the user.
