I know extremely well how both methods work but for an "amateur" I insist that wotanserver or davinciteam are safer; that's all I said. Regarding warranty, if the phone has generic labeling, they'll never know what the original firmware was. Besides, learn to be demanding...don't let them deny eg. replacement of a faulty earpiece because you debranded the phone! Yell at them! Theaten them! I did that at a SE service center...I started yelling and told them that I'm either leaving with a repaired phone or on the police car! I left with a repaired phone...no questions asked regarding the debranding! Just like the US Army policy on gay personnel..."don't ask, don't tell"! LOL! LOL!

Not sure about anyone else but i find sometimes the earpiece on this phone ever so slightly muffled? Conversations are heard fine on both ends but i do find its slightly muffled not that loud. Could that change in software update? I am with Orange and i find their call quality the clearest and loudest normally.

My earpiece sounds loud and clear...no muffling whatsoever. Try turning down the volume by just a bit. |

No on top volume its not very loud though i can hear it ok on busy street it seems to automatically get louder when on busy street. But on full volume indoors its a little muffled not totally muffled its easy to understand conversations but i find it lacks higher frequencies more lower. Seriously its not totally that loud or could it be my model? |

This is a phone with an earpiece volume way above average. Maybe yours has a hardware problem. |

I hope not. Is your almost really loud like makes you deaf? Mine is just so average volume wise i wonder if its Orange related cos its Orange branded? Wont be happy if so cos if i take it back to shop i am sure Orange will think there is nothing wrong with it. |

Just been into Orange shop they exchanged it but new one just the same. Its not that bad at all its just not the loudest earpiece i ever heard. Conversations are fine just more bass sound than clarity. Anyway got brand new one. Other than that found no faults with this mobile. |

Well i have no problems with the sound.
I can say that the C510 has a great sound quality

Like i said its not really bad its fine in most ways the sound but its not that loud but loud enough also ever so slightly muffled. My K800i before on Orange was clearer. Think its more muffled whilst hearing the sound Orange automated woman talking on actual calls its clearer maybe its just me. |

One more full-size photo taken with the C510. Slightly blurry on the very upper left corner but otherwise perfectly acceptable as a snapshot.
