The Bluespoon is cheaper than the BT-phones,..e.g. T-68 or 6310.
I've tried HBH-30,..its very nice,..and of course its a lot bigger than Bluespoon as well I didnt get a chance to test the HBH-30,..I just tried it on.
We (nextlink) really had a good chance to test the Bluespoon "sound" in Amsterdam at the bluetooth congress, where there were a lot of noise and a lot of other bluetooth devices,..and it was all "thumbs up", really good sound-quality !
Invisio > I'll be doing some work from "home-base", but will go to Nextlink, this upcoming week.

The bluespoon really does look very nifty, but I don't know if my gf would accept me spending £200 on a headset! I hope it comes down in price soon |

Are you allowed to give more details on the Bluespoon functionality?
I currently have an original Ericsson bluetooth headset [not HB-15 or HB-30], this gives me earache after approx. 40mins usage. I also know other people who have similar problems with BTHS.
I know you are saying the Bluespoon has a very long battery life and is comfortable to wear but how long do Nextlink recommend having the Bluespoon attached [to your ear].
Bluespoon is very small. A good thing. But is there a paging facility built in for when you can't remember where you put it?
I have used the new SonyEricsson BT headsets. The quality is very good but not long enough to see if the earache problem re-occurs.
I understand if you cannot answer the questions but would really appreciate it if you could.
Cheers

A Danish mobile-magazine have now tried the Bluespoon. The standbytime is 400 !!! hours, and the talktime is 6 hours. The sound is very good, and it fits perfect. |

Well, with the speciel way the Bluespoon is attached/sits in the ear,..You can wear it for a very long period of time. It doesnt "hurt" the ear in any way. Basically because it sits IN the ear,..not around it.
So it doesnt move around at all,..and the weight is so low at the same time.
I dont think Nextlink nor any other headset-company, can say just how long one should wear the headset.
It also varies a lot,..I can wear a headset all day,..and I dont feel a thing,..I dont get headaches or anything like that. I know that some people do get headaches/tooth-aches from e.g. mobile devices.
Hehe,..peoples problems seems to be, that they are afraid of loosing it Yes its very small.
Well if its turned on,..you could try and call your phone, hehe,..then the headset would start ringing
I dont believe theres any sort of "paging-thing".
Or, when not using it, put it in the cradle, which can stand on the table,..looks very nice

Yes the Bluespoon got a very good review in the danish magazine MOBIL,..really liked it. Said that the sound-quality was very good and clear,..very easy to hear what people said
When we where in Amsterdam at the bluetooth congress, we also used Bluespoon a lot,..and in the middle of 100000000 other bluetooth devices and a lot of people,..it was still very good in sound
People had no problems in hearing what we said...reception is good !
About the delievery,...well Expansys always have some "release-dates". Sometimes they are not changed for a long period of time.
Bluespoon will be released in July,..I dont have a precise date.
A lot of stuff have to "come together" at the "right time",...theres a lot of work in this : production, delieverances and so on,..and a lot of people involved. Its all in the timing
I know that I could avoid all these comments, questions and so on from all you people,..but I (and nextlink) didnt want to.
I want people to know what "goes on", and I want to give info.
I think a lot of other companies should do the same,..I'm not gonna mention any names
I know that giving all this info/status about how it all works out/comes along,..could "backfire" at me,..but I still believe its far better to give the information, than not to say anything.
Of course I will keep posting info, as soon as I know more

Steam, the BLuespoon is MUCH smaller. Instead of going around the ear, like the Moto headset, or the others, this one fits inside the ear.
http://www.nextlink.to/ Here you can see the size, in the girl's ear.
jh67, Could we see some pictures of the cradle, etc? I'd like to see more pics of the Bluespoon and its accessories, there don't seem to be many pics about. |

I'm sorry,..I dont have any pictures with me. And I dont think I have any pictures of the cradle,..just my design-sketches,..and I cant show them off, hehe
We do have the Motorola headset at Nextlink,..I'll try to take a picture of this together with Bluespoon and e.g. HBH-15.
Just to give an idea of how small Bluespoon is.
Another option,..go to the kitchen,...grab a teaspoon,..and there you have the size of Bluespoon
And You're right, Bluespoon is much smaller and weights a lot less too than the Motorola headset
