The photos I took with the new LED flash came out all yellow, so I think the early firmware is probably calibrated for the Xenon bulb.
So, I think we will have to wait to see how effective it will be. I suspect it will be very good though, as the flash is very bright.
Have any ordinary consumer digital cameras used such a flash to allow burst mode with lamp? I don't think so, and BestPic is so much better than burst mode too! The problem for SE is telling people about it, as even most reviewers can't explain how BestPic differs from a 'multi-shot' style feature.

If it had US 3G, it would have been perfect. Everything the K850i should have been.
I believe that SE said that the X1, C702 and C902 are heading for the US. Please correct me if I'm wrong. As for the phone itself, I was a little disappointed with the design initially, except for the keypad, but I have to say that it is growing on me. This photo flash could be a nice little add on. |

C702 and C902 don't have US 3G though. They will work fine on GSM/EDGE because they are QuadBand. |

Photoflash seems promising. Hope it works well in real life as this would really keep the phones down in size.

SE must be using the same sensor as the K850i in the C902. Pics look very similar. N82 again destroys the SE camera.
SE better make the successor of the K850i have a much better sensor otherwise SE has to stop using the Cybershot name in its camera because they suck and it is false advertising. |

Eugh,
Those C902 Photos look horrid, the colours are all muggy and the details are all lost - the N82 is the clear winner here, although - the C902 will probably be priced cheaper than the N82.
Come on Sony Ericsson, introduce some REAL Sensors, like the Exmor on the S0905iCS - do the Cyber-shot name some good!
Keep in mind though, the C902 shots are with Beta FW, so dont go shooting it off too soon, as Janet Jackson once said -
'lets wait a while'.

i mean, look at this phone...~10mm thick, great new joystick, 5 m.p camera with photo flash, awesome design.
about the 2" screen it realy works for me, i dont care if i have 2", 2.2" or 2.4" on my cell phone, i never watch movies anyway, (i have my laptop for that).
if the pic quality is good, this is my next phone, (for sure).

BUT which one.....C902 or G900 ??????
both have 5 m.p (AF) cameras...
G900 have 2.4" touchscreen & wlan,
C902 have Turbo 3G (HSDPA 2100), Cybershoot branded and more slimmed.....tuff choice.
njjaaaa..i go for C902......
i have allways enjoy Cybershoot phones more...(i LoVe the simplicity with Java based UI).

I just recently fell in love with the design of the C902...I'll probably want to upgrade my K790 at about the same time I also get the P5i, so this looks to be it. |
