@ ash
great gallery you've got there
@ razec
saw your link, at first I thought they were 3D models rendered to 2D, but they were done in Photoshop + Tablet, just like a real painting

Do or die.
Reeflotz, are you always doing animated character or some real people sketches as well. How about natural scenery ??

most of the time I draw animated characters, I did some real people sketches before as long as there is a picture for reference, but I'm having difficulties in drawing real life sketches, its hard because shading has to be consistent and I usually end up smudging some of it when I draw . Natural scenery I haven't really tried, I'm interested more in anime manga style drawing for now
Tried sketching something new:

Strange, i find real pics easier. I can draw a sketches within 10-15 mins, depending on the shape of face.

Same with me @reeflotz, anime characters were alot easier to draw once you've mastered the basics please do more CG! but don't forget to post the sketches as well (for the sake of the topic title )
regarding your suicidal sketch, i'd say you're on a bad mood were you? (:cough: tomino :cough:)
your latest sketches were really nice!, (again envying you for having all those time to work with your drawings!)

 please do more CG!
sure I'm planning on CGing my last sketch, already did the lineart. About the suicidal sketch, it was because I was listening to a game soundtrack Persona 3 which is why I ended up drawing that In the game they summon their persona by pointing their gun (not a real gun) on their heads, once the trigger is pulled glass like shards come out and their persona is summoned to fight the forces of evil called shadows It's a nice game.
@Ceaser that's great! me I usually take about 1 and a half up to 2 hours to finish a sketch. 30 minutes for initial sketch then the rest for adding details.

Reeflotz, for me, it takes 10-15 mins to draw initial shapes with less details, then i would relax the person and do some shading and other details. In all, the sketch completes within 30-35 mins.

You guys have completely beaten me! sketching takes 2 hours or more because i'm carefully drawing the details, but thanks to a tutorial book i've read i can now do more or less an hour for a complete body + face sketch, the CGI is the time consuming process here, i can only finish one per day that's the reason i can't provide some on this thread as my work needs much of my time
when i was doing concepts back then it would take me 2 days for a PSed image or a whole week to finish a project - a project typically contains three or more pictures. now that's really slow

I know this work isn't hand drawn, but finally after hours of work on the computer it is complete. I noticed some errors on the original sketch like the nose misplaced a little, a misplaced button on the outfit and the forehead a little too big, fixed those while doing the CG and here it is:

Then i'll change the title to accomodate CG arts as well, but i'll strictly limit this to hand drawing turned CG or CG made using vector drawings, anything as long as it's still related to drawing
also your CGI skills are really great @reeflotz! just look at how a computer can give greater soul to a drawing! i only have one suggestion, give more light reflection to her eyes, it'll show more liveliness to it

Thanks for the suggestion, yeah I've noticed it now the eyes need more reflections. If you see anything else that's wrong please do comment, It'll help me a lot.
