In Goa, along with a few other phrases that are useful when some idiot nearly knocks you off your scooter!

Depending on the context in which you say it, it means either 'gayboy / ladyboy' or 'asshole'.

I'm going off topic again *slaps wrist*

Anyway,

Social networkers warned of risk

"A quarter of the 11 million Britons who use social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook may be leaving themselves open to identity fraud."

Not to mention the risk of having your photographs ridiculed by fatreg...

I was surprised at the figures though, 1/4 of users are daft enough to put their home address on a publicly viewable website? Give me strength...

They can have my credit card if they like. There's not enough money left on it to buy a bag of sweets and the monthly repayments are crippling!

forgive me if im wrong, but anyone with any know how would limit they profile if they wanted to put their details on there - surely?!?!

in anycase... in my opinion i believe (networking sites aside) if people really want your info, they can get it easily anyway - so why worry.....

have i gone too far putting my bank details on there?

I think that's the problem - they're not in the know! At first, I didn't notice that everybody in the same facebook network as you can automatically view your profile unless you change the privacy setting to 'friends only'.

You're right though, this whole online privacy thing has been blown out of proportion. I think you're more likely to become a victim of identity theft through somebody rummaging through your bins to be honest.
