Well this might be obvious, but it's better to discharge your battery to get a proper reading than to fully charge it. Just let the battery die then do a full charge. It usually fixes the problem.

I don't believe what you don't know how to delete pre-installed items.
I have registered only to post this.

Try this:

1. Go to Master Reset
2. Wait about 12 to 15 secs and than remove the battary -before reset is finished.
3. Wait about a couple of minutes and then powen on you T300.

Don't forget to backup all your important items.

It's not sure that it works on any version but I have SW R1D011 and it worked from the first try.

When I first bought the phone it had 450KB free memory.
After reset it was 650KB. But now total memory is about 580KB.
I not sure where the 70KB gone but I gain about 130KB. Not bad.

If you think it worths to try go for it.

P.S. I take NO responsibility if this method damage your phone in anyway

@Zefiros and to all

I really have to warn you and others. It ain't damaging the phone, but the memory can get all f**ked up. I did that trick, and now the phone think it still got 2 or 3 games, in the memory... 149 Kb. Thats a huge ammount of memory on that phone. I had to send it it to update, and I am hoping it does the memory bug a lil better.
The Truth is out there!!!

Hi,

I found the same problem with the battery indicator. I heard from SE, that they will release a software patch because it's a known fault.

how do u load the patch? do u have to leave the phone with service provider and wait for couple hours?

Is there a way to load a patch myself? via infrared instead of cable?

Anyone else get rid of traces of T-Mobile on one of their T300? I restored the original SE WAP services icon (bye bye blurry T-zones icon) and my phone now opens with the fluid SE icon, just like a T68. I did a succession of 13 sec reset tricks. I got about 600 Mb free. I'm much happier seeing these than the junk added by T-Mobile! In prior posts I read here it seemed that this stuff could not be removed by the mem trick. Ne1 else get this result?
