thanx. What would be the highest firmware I can move up to? I believe the K810 would be the highest? |

neither you cant have k810's on yours.
these phones are different also. if you had a k800, you could flash it to k810. but not from k790 to k810.

Apart from PhotoFix and TrackID what advantages do I get if I flash the k810i firmware in my k800i? Also I've seen some video on youtube of someone who flashed his phone with a walkman firmware, granted his cam and other things did not work properly it did work, one could always move the drivers back to get things to work in the walkman firmware right? I think he flashed it with w880 if I'm not mistaken.

if you want to know the advantages of flashing your k800 to k810:
K810 firmware in K800, is it possible?
btw, i've seen k800 flashed to w850. but not working properly.

But then the iprobete.cz site seems unavailable and the 4shared site does not seem to have any firmwares for z250.

Firmware extensions are .mbn for MAIN and .fbn for FS... They may wary if the phone is older model... For example, I have W800 firmware in .bin format (still works with XS++ for me)

This post is a kind of update to help you not browsing through the forum... As this tutorial is for CID49/51/52 phones and CID53 is not supported by XS++ yet, our fellow member centur wrote CID53 flashing tutorial... So all CID53 phone users who want to flash their phones, folow this guide:

Hey guys,
Need help putting flash menus on a W600i with XS++ (any version)..
I've got the .thm files and the .swf files already, uploaded the flash files to the phone in desktop/flash folder.
Then I moved the themes to the card, applied them, but the menu still stays the same.
Can anyone help out?

Heyy help needed pls T.T
I have tried to flash my w550i with xs++ according to the instruction you posted, but xs++ was unable to customize the filesystem (own_custpack). I then used SeToolLite to flash in the finalization files but then the phone still remained at the 'Configuration error. Please contact network operator or service centre'. The phone is still CID49 but DB2010. someone help? |

hey just a question (or 2): im trying to deband my vodafone k610i, will the web browser/sms/mms still keep the same settings if i flash the firmware or if not how do i back them up? also the phone is a little different to normal k610i's, the activity menu button is changed to an end call button and the web button is changed to a start call button, if i flash the firmware will the buttons preform the origanal sonyericsson functions or the vodafone ones?
