Check out the exhausts (yes, they rotate like Gatling guns too...), single-sided swingarm, clear-window clutch basket covers, mounting of the Ohlins rear shock and rear tyre size on this highly modified Yamaha V-Max...oh, and the air filter protruding through the 'tank':

That's amazing. I'd like to ride that.
Police might stop you in every chance they got though
BTW, I think you should clean you camera lens. Light spreads too much IMO. YOu should wipe it with a clean sheet I think.

Yeah, it'll draw attention alright.
Got some other interesting pics of custom bikes taken with the P1i, but I'll upload them later this week when I've got a little more time on my hands.

@ama - Nice, very futuristic BIKE pal ! Those exhaust pipes looks like a mini-SUB-machine-GUNS used in the early 19th century war . . . the FASCIA is sure veeeery: METALLIC I wonder if you can STILL see something in that kind of side-mirror . . . TYRES are - OBESE
Over-all . . . I think that Bike will be used in Arnie's Terminator 4 - movie . . .

More bike show pics, taken with the P1i. Quite some artful engineering here on this hand-crafted frame, tank, rims, swingarm, trellis fork setup, etc, yet still keeping with the older classic cruiser styling:

More show pics taken with the P1i. Not your average petrol tank, just for starters...
Mechanical artwork:

Here's a purple alternative from the same stable. Again, amazing machining from solid billet to create the swingarm, wooden (! LOL) seat and no lower frame cradle supports; all the stress loads calculated and carried by the fantastic frame 'spine':

Here are some I found from ages ago. The P1i camera is pathetic and the green tint is just abyzmal. They obviously used a cheap chinese $2.00 sensor. And it crashed all the time while using the camera. Shame on you SE ......
No wonder I got rid of that utter piece of crap.

hey kradcliffe...as usual, you are mistaking you´re results with other people´s
yes, the green tint thing is pathetic, when it is noticeable...but no, the P1 camera is not lousy, its just not great like other SE cameras (k800)...most of the photos you show are indeed bad because: 1 - poor light conditions (phone camera´s worst enemy); 2 - you seem to suck at making photos
Regarding point 2, even in this same thread page you can find examples of really good photos made with the P1, just to compare
I also don´t regard seeing anyone else refering his P1 is restarting when taking photos

Mine did it a couple of times with the d23 firmware. Usually it just didn't start when you pressed the camera button, seems fine with the latest firmware tho.
I have said it before, i really don't notice the green tint most of the time. Certainly not enough to return it se for a new camera module. |
