I think very few screens stand up to daylight viewing testing in my experience.

The original trasflective iPAQs did a good job but not so many since then

Fingers crossed its as good as the iPAQs, I really want to be able to read and respond to emails outdoors!

Seriously, bites doesn't it? I know you're pain but keep at work, keeps the cash flow in you've just spent quite a bit. Let the misses pick it up & DON'T skip work.

What do you do exactly? PM me, wondering if you support wireless networks & VoIP.

Also anyone with it can you do a few Video Reviews that those of us here can DL to our phones to watch on the go?

Phoneboy - is BBConnect 4 pre-installed or on the CD that shipped?!

This WILL bring the P1i into FULL business suit!
* the P990 promised it would ship; which it didn't & wasn't available for months after.

IPAQ; man I remember those 3.8" screen days - without that line PPC wouldn't have gone anywhere. Compaq was strong in those days, now its HTC, wonder whom will be next?!

I'm playing with mine now. got the wifi setup though I forgot to change my router from g only to b/g so wondered why it didn't connect at first.

typing feels just the same as m600, which is great, but the overall feel gives me the impression it is faster

it also feels a bit weightier in the hand but thats a good thing and it feels quite nice to hold.

stylus is a nice length to hold, and is longer than m600

quite pleased so far but more to come later when I've had more time with it

Expansys have again messed with their expected time... now shorted to 5 days...

What's the build quality like Masseur?
As you may remember I loved the M600i... but we have to admit.. looks a little cheap when I put it next to the P990i...

I still love the look of the m600 but the p1 does definitly feel more solid, but then I thought that of the m600 when I first got it so maybe time will tell again.

people used to say the P800 looked like a toy and the change from p800 to p900 seems similar to m600 to P1, but now P800 is classic

P800 is indeed a classic... as I remember the colour, nevermind the technology at the time was very fresh... Gosh I had the T300 at the time... But still think the P900 is the smartest looking flipped P series to date... sigh... anyway...

Did you get the little pouch case with yours?

May sound soft... but I have missed the smilies on the N95... are they the same style smilies as the M600 and P990?

yeah, got the pouch which is like the w950 pouch but without walkman logo

also got a cds-75 stand too and some freebies from x1387 which will be useful.

I'm really lovin' the P1 now although my cellphonesoft software doesnt wanna install (specifically autocam for screen capture but I suspect Lisa has a version for me to try already )

the feel of the device is really good though

edir: btw, BBC 4 is pre-installed though I don't use it myself
