 | Ooohh more N82 pics
Going by the general comments flying around i think i'm among the minority in actually liking the design, form and layout of this phone. I really am eagerly awaiting an official release and of course a first user review.

K850 doesnt even have lens cover but its call cybershot, but n82 seems to have some good lens protecter which is necessary for digital camera. And not to forget bigger screen, wifi

In short "This is what digital cameras have become"

And added to it nokia is continuously releasing high end phones for variosus segments announcing it asap unlike Se,

 N95,N81,n81 8gb,N810 internet browsr,N95 8gb and now n82

For nokia desiging a flasgship level phone is like making a noodles that instant. If u give them 2 mins time they will make a flagshp phone

wht else can we ask for.nothing to imagine they realease the phones before we can imagine anything

 | Typical Nokia naming convention, really...comes from N81(and that's not circular, either)......
Although he is moving his finger around it......

 I find it ugly
especially for being an ugly copycat for a mid ranger K550

only fools will believe, nokia has generally poor performance in cameras
with the promise of xenon flash it will not mean it can beat K850's xenon or it can be, remember th KG920 and Viewty> thy even have xenon flash but is weak compared to K800, K850 shares the same xenon flash module as K800
but as far as i see, seems that the xenon flash used in N82 is similar to a cheap camera xenon flash and will unlikely produce good lighting aid in night pics

The Best Joke i've ever heard
K850 sports autolens cover similar to all W-series cameras from cybershot
In short "This is what digital cameras have become"

Picture quality will not be as good as expected unless they would stay away from that gimmicky supersaturation and oversharpening which was the most stupid thing nokia has ever done

And added to it nokia is continuously releasing high end phones for variosus segments announcing it asap unlike Se,

another joke, SE makes different phones for different users/buyers.

N95,N81,n81 8gb,N810 internet browsr,N95 8gb and now n82

 you missed the letter "e"

For nokia desiging a flasgship level phone is like making a noodles that instant. If u give them 2 mins time they will make a flagshp phone

they can even release phones with generally flawed hardware like N95's poor slider in just a second

what else can we ask for.nothing to imagine they release the phones before we can imagine anything

just the inclusion of wifi, GPS and a weak megapixel camera and you consider that more than we ask for? look at Japanese's phones

just like K850i smells the backside of N95 in indoor, outdoor and close-up flash photo.

I have to admit N95 is really behind here with one major flaw. K850 on the other hand leaves N95 far behind with its tally:- stuck lens, creaky cover, kill memory card when used with USB, misfired flash, disappearing messages, dust galore in cam lens and messed up BT stereo.

 running for cover (tora tora
) when the going gets tough.

 | OMG!!!!!!!!!! This the phone I've been waiting for all my life!!!!
GPS, WIFI and, now, even a XENON FLASH all in an S60 SMARTPHONE!

Folks, please do not even dare to compare this phone to the POS 'wanna-be-flagship-cybershot' K850. The N82 is in a league of it's own!

Smartphones were missing a good xenon flash. NOMORE, finally Nokia has delivered a 99% complete phone for my needs!! Can't wait to get my filthy hands on it.

 | Indeed n82 is on other league but lets wait to see what happens. The specs are very good and its size and form for me are great (im just hopping that will be more colors avaiable and the real product looks better than on the photos) but about his performance only time will tell... I mean battery life, GPS locking, GPS module detectable by other 3rd p apllications, good audio quality like n81, camara performance etc... |

 Battery is BP-6MT 1050mAh, just like N81......

Can't quote GPS usage(but then I won't ever use it), sorry......

...and M-R's Eldar already claims audio matches(possibly even exceeds) N81......

Oo, plus the fact that the proto picture quality is equal/better than N95 proto's was...in short, this is all the the good(S60 FP1) bits(like demand paging, autorotation, improved task managment), without the bad(N95) hardware......
