@ deepsme - but the Samsung isnt a smartphone, am i correct ? which is one reason why im choosing the N93 as my next phone. I want and need a smartphone and high camera / video quality.
@ bugsiiy - very interesting, and not as bad as some people make out if thats for general use.
Personally i never listen to music on any of my phones anymore, i just dont have the time except for when im at home but i use my pc or hi-fi for that purpose, so worrying about battery life when playing mp3 files isnt an issue anymore.
How do you find the phone software wise ? ive never owned a 3rd edition S60 handset, and apparently its hard to find software that will work with it, even though many S60 apps will say in their requirements " S60 2nd edition or higher " How do you find this ?

@etaab as far as i know this symbian isn't compatible with older symbians yet i haven't tried a S60 2nd edition program. As for the OS it is slow (compared to the selfsustained OS of W800 or K800) for example on w800 if you press Walkman it enters the player instantly while on N93 it takes 1-2 seconds at least to enter. One big problem that i noticed is the low ram.The phone has 30 mb of ram and those go very quickly if you browse and listen to music.Even so it is not enough to open a huge PDF (the N93 user guide i dld from the internet) but that is kind of fair since the user guide has 120 or so pages and is almost 5 mb in dimensions. But it can open smaller PDF files. Also when browsing you can run into Low Memory, close one or more... but that doesn't close the browser,it just stops loading the page (i encountered this when i tried to open the page where i posted the photos taken with n93).The phone did one restart by itself (in the first or second day) but since then no restart. The only thing it will do will say Not enough memory, and will close the application, that is good since you won't loose possible data.
As for the design i like it,and as for structure it is quite well done, and it support multitasking well at least until you run out of memory

@BobaFett i meant that the phone has 2 browsers,a stupid one, more for wap than HTML (which has a lot more functions) and a very smart browser which misses those features

Well, i know many people moan that they might not be able to run an office app whilst listening to music, have their contacts open, browse the net via WLAN, but i rarely do any of this anyway.
If i wanted a fully sophisticated multitasking phone, i wouldnt buy a S60 handset, id buy a WM5 PDA / XDA (which i probably will in the coming months anyway).
The N93 for me is a balance of having the excellent multimedia aspects it has, coupled with a smartphone where i can install apps other than Java.

@boba no sry,the phone records in mp4 and 3gp. It also plays these formats. I encoded a 700mb avi movie to .mp4 320x240, 400 video bitrate and 96 audio bitrate with 48000hz and stereo and it plays full screen perfect
EDIT: curious thing though, i transfered the same vid to black devils k800 and it can play it, of course, with time to time stutterings but it can play it, damn

the most disturbing thing i think is the fact that you don't have too much photo settings although nokia said it is a photography/video phone.

Surely it would have more.
Im still waiting for my usual source to get the phone in stock, sold my K750i today and now im having to use a crap old phone as my phone till this thing arrives.
@ bugsiiy - any chance of uploading another video or two, say taken in the street with moving cars, people, etc ?
A couple of pictures taken with the camera of the same scene would be appreciated too.
