Contrary to alleged rumour, i've neither been abducted nor confined to the nuthouse, i've been working my fingers to the bone. Finally the world is now a safer place

@ Gola, no boet, i don't own a shotgun, but used an Ithaca (amongst others) extensively when i was involved with a local Defence Force shooting team.

@ Hobbs, my N73 has been nicked, dude, first time i've ever had a handset go walkabout. Put it down for a second whilst unlocking my front door and disarming the security system, not even 15 seconds later it's gone... usually it's in my pocket, but my i'd just had a call, hands were full, etc. Anyway, spilt milk... had it blacklisted, did the simswop thing, keeping my eyes peeled for an E61i now, or something with similar screen dimensions. Mobipocket rocks on those huge screens!! By the way, thanx for the PiZero linkup on Facebook, boet

Roman, welcome to the thread mate

@ Gucci, mIRC is Internet Relay Chat, initially it was Windows based (if memory serves) but these days there are a few clients available which will allow you to join a chat channel.

Yep, i'm back on the 6680, although there's a spare N80 which i haven't gotten around to setting up yet. Fortunately i've saved all the s60v3 installation files on the PC, so i'll be setting up the N80 asap whilst shopping around.

Sorry to hear that kryptic...but i dont understand where were you exactly and who was around?surely you could've seen or guessed who took it?anyway good excuse to buy another phone lol.
Gucci i had that phone for two weeks and it was awesome at first but i got bored by the end of the first week.it doesnt even come with navigation software installed which is a shame.but dam nice eye candy!i loved the weather menu and the whole 3d interface works stunningly smooth and crisp clear display is just too good!
Roman go for mtn you'll never regret and plus you can take your number with you so no need to change your number.ask the mtn store they'll do it in a day at most.voda is a rip of network and not very reliable.i dont hate them but i think they way way over priced with phones and even calls.

Falcon, i had a call on one phone as i was pulling into the garage at home, got out still on the phone, and kept talking whilst i was taking out my bags and books etc, locking up the garage, then did the unforgivable by leaving my phone and some books on the windowsill while i ran inside to turn off the alarm. Not a soul anywhere in the street, it's a loooooong walk up the driveway to my front door, which is all the more puzzling, because whoever took it had to be moving pretty damn fast, seeing that it was out of my sight for only a few seconds.

I agree Hobbs, and i'm not stressing over it. Could've been some dude stepping up and holding a pistol to my head instead of The Symbian Fairy paying an unscheduled visit

You got that right Kryps, but you got to be careful nowadays of these Symbian fairies, they are known to command you to "turn around, drop your briefs and face the wall before making you a fairy in the most unpleasant way" I think in such circumstances I'd rather have the gun put to my head.hahahahah

roflmao Hobbs, you've seen one too many Village People music videos

Until tonight i'd never realized there was a Handy Taskman for S60 v2! I'd been using it on the N73, took a shot and searched for a version for the 6680, and voila, found one

@ Kryptik:

Sorry to hear about the N73, boet.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the armpits of the culprit.

And may the Symbian Fairies indeed deliver an even better device.

@ Hobbster:
Will check out that link soon, boet.
