Ya I think so too, boet. Price is all that I'm wondering about now.
As much as I'd like to get my mitts on one ASAP, I'll weather the wanton Wanqa's desires by a few months if necessary, if it means that I don't pay extortionate amounts of money for a such an awesome handset.
Suddenly I've got an ol' Gn'R song in my head: "...Just a little patience....yeeeaaahh...." LOL.

Wangs you always got the habit of mentioning old songs i absolutely love. Those buggers were good back in the day.I just sometimes wish they hadnt released the Spagetti Incident after the Use Your Illusion albums and that Axl had staid on drugs, cause that was when he was at his best lol

@ Hobbster:
Ya, so true. In many ways the double album was their swan-song.
What a pity indeed. 3 bands I feel could've still been making headlines in the music scene, if things were still as they were (and if they were all still alive n'kickin'), would be them, Alice In Chains, and of course Nirvana. Oh hang on, what about Pearl Jam, Soundgarden etc. Dammit, there I go on another early 90's music tangent again, LOL.

Well with the E90 priced at R9500 and the N95-2 I think it is 8 grand,God only knows Gucci. The 8gb I-phone sells for R6800 at Vodacom and didnt they say the 5800 goes for half the price of the Iphone.Correct me if Im wrong.
Pearl Jam wasnt cool if you were a dedicated Nirvana fan (eventhough deep down inside you knew they were fu#king hot) Mmmm I think Mp3fiesta needs a visit and a Pearl Jam album is needed in my CD Collection.Good one Wangs,I totally forgot about them.Nirvana, its hard listening to them now-a-days I find.Maybe its just because you have a handful of albums and thats that. You go back and forth from album to album and you've heard it all so much that its become stale.I love 'You Know You're Right' -I think its called. The last song released by Nirvana.I can listen to it over and over. That man was brilliant. For a small guy he could scream like hell.

Yhu, we're on a roll tonight here, peeps. Been a while since we've had over 30+ posts in a single day.
Mphone here now have the Xperia in stock, and it's the same wacky initial launch price as the N96, i.e 500 (approx R7500)...

Ya, I wasn't a massive Pearl Jam fan myself, but Eddie Vedder and the boys had a huge influence on the grunge scene in that time (oh hell, and he loved himself a fair bit too, LOL), and an album like 'Ten' is a true classic of that time.
I manage to still listen to Nirvana now and again. The post-Cobain release 'You Know You're Alright' is also one of my faves, no question. I find 'Bleach' the hardest album to listen to at times. Very edgy, almost uneasy, but there's also an appeal in those raw arrangements.
Nevermind is timeless. I don't think I could tire of tracks like 'Come As You Are' et al.

One thing I'm you've paid attention to is how ridiculous Vodacom are in terms of their pricing strategy. The E90 at that price is a rip off! Check out Incredible Connection and compare, much cheaper over there.

Wangs I play guitar and when I bought a guitar book of the album Bleach to learn all the songs I was really surprised to see how complicated his music was to play on that album. It was quite complex and insanely structured. So I always listen to that album with interest. You must remember they made that album with hardly any money and their drummer at the time was pretty crap and one dimensional.Looked like a little pixie.Boy did he miss out when Mr Grohl entered the scene.Nevermind was just awesome,sing-a-long stuff to tracks like Lithium, come as you are,Smells like Teen spirit,on a plain, polly ect.Incesticide was very childlike.Enjoyed the playfulness of that album with tunes like Mollys Lips.My favourite has to be In-Utero.Dark and Painful.Slightly disturbing with tracks like Rape Me,Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge,Scentless Apprentice,Shaped Box ect Nirvana Unplugged In New York was just classic.Loved his choice of songs on that album.Man Who Sold The World is my favourite on that album. The David Bowie cover.Long Live Nirvana.Short Live Courtney Love lol

@EM-On a Top 315,you getting R315 airtime,so that cancels each other out.Phone financing was R179.00 So if you paying R179.00 over 24 months it comes up to a grand total of R4296.00 I dont think that so bad considering its worth 9-plus grand. But yeah,Vodacom in general are bloody expensive.

Can you see why that QWERTY keyboard of the E90 is going to come in handy.Im a posting monster when I sit in front of a keyboard and not just a the normal keypad.Never got into the whole T9 thing except when I had my 3310.The perfect phone for messaging that was.

@ Hobbster:
And look what Dave Grohl's still doing today. Man, how many music instruments can the dude play? So incredibly talented.
'Scoff' is by far my fave track off Bleach. 'All Apologies' off In Utero. Yeah and I'd agree about Incesticide. That repetitive chorus in Sliver... aargh. Maybe Stain or Aneurysm are the ones I find OK from that album... but nothing I'd write home about there.
