It's all these simple things that make 's so easy to use. And that ease of use is one of the most important things in a handset for me.
I much prefer to lose a few features, in order to have a handset that is straight forward and does things efficiently, without me having to search for files, or not have control over my folders etc.
Basically, with an , everything is where you expect to be. That's why I love 'em.

Bluetooth Remote Control can be used for controlling Media on a PC, skip tracks etc. (But seriously, who ever uses it anyway?) The SIM menu on Vodafone links almost exclusively to Entertainment content.
But these small things aside, I still think has the best UI layout of any Manufacturer. It isn't the most powerful (which is why your games lag. A large amount of actual applications, rather than just files, in one folder will slow it down without question), and you can't add applications like with S60, but it does the job it's designed to do better than the rest I think.

. . . By far the worst was the media player, which took 45 SECONDS to load my files, every time I changed a menu. So if you switched between Albums, Artists etc, you had this huge wait before it did anything . . .
Well that's certainly something for me to consider. It was like that on the K850 when I first got it and used an 8Gb card. That was enough for me to think about getting rid of it but luckily SE fixed it on thye nxt FW. I use my phone a lot for music, & pictures and general stuff (other than calls) which the K850 if good at. Didn't like it at all when I first got it (as felt like a stopgap) but has grown on me. Will wait for the first comprehensive reviews of that sort of phone to come before making a final descsion. |

I cant fault the SE Menu Structure. Its wins on all phones hands down.
Thats not what im saying.
The problem is that the K850i to me doesnt excel in anything,
Its still slow, crashes, fault and fault, some videos are still slow and my k800 plays them fine. The camera is good, but thats it. Videos recording is a joke to me and this will be the same with the C905.
The C905 to me has got nothing happening for it, its still going to be slow, problematic, its got a nice 8mb camera. But so as the LG with Blink, Smile and face detection.
I know that the LG is going to come with a new menu system, so i will play with it first and then make my descision.
If some one can persude me other wise then please.
I am a SE die hard fan, I have all the K phones. But having 7 K850is and this one isnt brilling now i have i have lost all faith in them

What's an 8MB camera?
Seriously, just because you've had a bad experience with the K850i doesn't mean the C905 is going to be bad does it? The K850i was the first of a new platform and it just wasn't ready. I had that phone too, and it really was crap.
But the problems in A200 that K850i had are not present in other phones, so why the C905? You can't just say the C905 is going to be slow or problematic becasue there is no evidence to say it will be.
Do what I'm going to do. Wait till it comes out, then just see what others make of it. You never know, you could be missing out on an awesome phone.

and whats so awesome about it? What is that cool feature that it has to offer, and no other manufacturer can offer? I told you, SE is lost for me now. I just want to know why you people don't see it. I know that i shouldn't talk because i dont have a C905 yet, but i owned many many SE phones, and i saw what can they do. Maybe this is like LG, made crap till viewty, and now they are going upwards. Maybe.. If it wheren't that slooooooow!!!!!!!!
SE blew it with the CPU optimizing since the T610, good phone, very slow. It was compared to a motorola that was released same year, and moto was 100x faster (metafore). + that the moto had VR. I admit they are good phones, but not exceptional. Lack of speed and features. Maybe you guys believe that this C905 will be #1 camera phone in 2009, but i dont. And if it will fail that, than whats the point of it, because thats all it can do. I realised this since my new phone. |

I rather think the A2 bugs that plagued the K850i willl be well and truly ironed out with the c905, they certainly seemed to have be ironed out in the C902 which seems to have a relatively clean bill of health and is nothing like the K850i.

Thats the problem, The C902 still does inherit some of the slowness and random reboots for no reason.
Trust me, Im a SE through and through. I know lots and get to know lots of info too
I cant say that the c905 will be slow, but so far its running on the same processor as both c902 and k850i which doesnt seem to handle them phones very good.
Im not saying that the processor isnt any good, but the current software doesnt seem to be very good.
You also have to take into fact that the current SE brand image is running at a all time low. Bad firmware, poor quality materials and so on.
I do hope that the c905 will be better but i will have a look when its out |

I'm sure SE won't do same mistake as they did with K850. something they have to get learned..
And W980 runs on A200 also, no crashes or auto reboot..

I think you forget, that only a very small minority of buyers are clued up on phones. I don't think the C905 is perfect, but it will sell very well I suspect. Just like the C902 has sold bucketloads, the C905 has that all important 'Wow!' factor for the public:
8.1MP Cyber-shot stamped on the side
People will buy it based on that alone, and if it is reliable, it will sell big numbers. Remember, it's a more convential design than the K850i as well, more inviting.

You better are right. The Innov8 runs circles around the C905 when it comes to specs. And it can be bought right now ! Give me one good reason why this should sell better then the Samsung?

I believe over the last year or so Samsung outsold SE like 2.5:1 Which means for every one agreeing with you, there are 2.5 others who don't
But then again , who cares about the real world. I suggest you buy it (the INNOV8) and replace the Samsung logo with SE . Now that will make you happy Afterall you'll have the most sophisticated and complet SE ever produced by a mile
