well, Landscape works great to....you need just a bit more work (technique) to get great results

Well, what yould have you done to avoid this? How to improve the photo quality in the type of enviroment?
N82 really behaves as a nice point-and-shoot digitam in my night-outs, but this? I'd rather to keep it my pocket...

This is the exact situations where we need a xenon flash. My n86 also sucks in these situations. The scenery gets lit up nicely but it uses a long exposure time. People move so they get blurred. With a strong xenon flash the cam uses a shorter exposure time and it works nice.
