No advancements. I don't like IDM & Flashget. I still like DAP. But the problem is DAP will not work with Ra**d**are and Meg**pload.

If you are getting 3 to 4KBps, then its okay. Don't think about high-end phones.

I was indirectly asking about accessing Rapi*Sh*re & Meg**pload which is not possible using anonymous proxy websites. Do u have any tricks to change the ip so that we can able to download contents through Rapi***are all the times.

hi guys, i have been browsing the net for some time using this trick. i was in tamil nadu most of the time where i used to get speeds of 50-70 kbps(around 6 kBps). but when i came to trivandrum(kerela), i noticed a big speed difference. today morning i was getting download speeds around 13 or 15 kBps (around 130 kbps). i dunno how this happened? do any one of you guys get this much speed? or is edge enabled by airtel only in kerala? i`m using nok 6630 |

idm is the best no download manager can beat idm in speed 
but when u r doing any download via idm than u can't think of surfing coz it use all the available bandwidth.
and dap contain lots of adware thats why i am not using it.
and onspeed is the only option if u want to download from rapidshare or megaupload and onspeed works only on mo.
btw i don't have any problem with rapidshare as i have its premium a/c

hey guys i had other doubts too
1> does pining the server increase the speed?
2> changing port 1 (communication port) bit rate to 128000 and flow control to hardware make some difference?
3>changing Local Computer Policy-->Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Network-->QOS Packet Scheduler-->Limit Reservable Bandwidth to zero useful.
by doind these things any one had increased speed in our trick please tell |

@rahulrocks airtel launched edge services in 6 cities in kerala last month. which includes trivandrum. I am from trivandrum and i do get download speeds upto 18 KBps in the morning |

Pinging 100.1.200.99 initially increases the speeds but later the speed reduces. I didnt find any difference by setting reservable bandwidth to zero. |

But Nokia 6600 have multiple account provision. But only the fact is it uses WAP 2.0. In WAP 2.0, Nokia has blocked many functions. Like, you can't browse PC internet in your phone using mRouter connection. But in this case, I think there may be a extra initialization string that will do the job. But as we don't know it, we have to wait till someone GENIOUS find it.

Hey Alan,
6600 worked fine for me, I used the bluesoil tool for connecting it to my PC and made a FAX modem connection between the 2. Try that out and letme know if it works for you too. |

My MO just expired . No more yahoo messenger for me  . So i am now connecting via net on phone service. Anyway, all those with SINGLE CHANNELED GPRS phones could actually subscribe for Net on phone and it WORKS!!!! Net on phone only costs 99/month . But in many places ppl dont get charged at all like me ... I ve been using net on phone for one and a half yrs for FREEE. So i guess this gotta solve the Single channel GPRS problem.
