Why would you need that, has no real function or use to it?

Hmmm, seems the k800 is not built to the quality everyone was expecting ehy??

Dodgy keypads...Camera cover is very wobbly...hmm, im not impressed myself...feels like it is not going to last long...

The thing that has impressed me most is the quality and speed of capture from the camera, it feels like a digital camera now...

yeah, i forgot to ask... how's the shutter lag on the K800?
cause on the K750, it'd capture stuff like half a second after you press it, so how's it on the K800?

^ Not with the latest firmware the K750 doesn't! Its much quicker than that...

Well as some people have said the time taken to actually take the picture from when you pressed the camera button is almost, if not instaltaneously.

If you really need a precise-click shot, then the k800i has a 'bestpic' function that will surely catch the moment.

Sorry if this was asked before... how does the internal flash in K800 compare with the add-on flash for K750? The one in the K800 looks smaller, i was wondering if it can light the same surface.
BTW, could you use the MXE-60 flash in the K800, alongside the internal one?

And another one: do the landscape pictures taken at evening/night (not using the flash, of course) still have all that blue noise, like in K750? Is the night mode improved?

Thanks!

So? Did anyone compare the MXE-60 with the K800 in-built flash?
Does the annoying blue noise appear in the evening/night shots of a landscape (not short distance with flash)?

And another good one: If I have a Java program which wants to access the file system... does the phone ask a million times if to read/write (like K750), or does it have the option to "ask once"?

Well I'd assume the K800's flash is better since it is a Xenon flash, the same used by real Cyber-Shot digital cameras...

Although I have not tried the add on flash so I can't really say.

The pics taken with the K800i using the built in flash is slightly better than ones taken sing the MXE-60 on my W800i. The flash is not as bright as the flash on my proper Cybershot camera though.

Hi guys n girls,

Well, I've had the K800 a few days now and also owned an N80...

What can I say, they're both amazing phones for different reasons, and you really can't compare them....

Obviously the N80 with symbian is compatible with practically everything, and the wifi, etc is all amazing, but I've found that the new K800 software is much better than the K750. I can't really nail it, but it feels smarter and just better and als I have found quite a range of software compatible...

At the end of the day, this may have been a compltley pointless post, but I thought I'd say it, can't wait for the next firmware update, I want rid of those green line son video recording....

Cheers

Um, well, pubs and clubs mainly, and also night lit streets, you kinda knocked it on the head with the choice, those are what I'm looking for...

Sorry for the delay!

Ok, I've got a short video taken in Yates's the other night. It's norma pub lighting, with night mode on. I wasn't focusing on anything in particular, just scanning round the pub while I was stood at the bar!

It does the job, and I'd be happy with it for a quick vid clip.

It should give people an idea of how the k800 performs in dim light anyhow.

Just need somewhere to put it now, any ideas?!

Anyone know what applications are available for the K800i and where you might find them? I'm wondering whether someone has developed a media player add in as the music player is a little naff. I've never understood why you cannot browse music by album (which is the same on teh first generation of Walkman phones).
