@fxyvxn, thank you for your input. my real dilemma talaga is the new found stability, reliability of this phone's gprs on smart's network. this i can't part with. and i'm not sure if the real "i" can give me that. i also noticed that it is a lot faster opening up emails on our corporate exchange server. dati may mga delay and timeout ngayon wala!

hello streaming videos, interactive msgs & much much more!

globe is already testing their mms infastructure. 3G is already nearing. gprs may no longer be free but the look on the brighter side, service is becoming ok (with fingers crossed).

@* who will upgrade tom. - see yah!

@tweety: yun nga e:-( the i pa naman doesnt have an upgrade yet that has a more stable sw. Ok lang i guess:-) starting to get used to it na. Trade off lang talaga tho. You get faster t9 and better gprs but you get the caller id thing.

@Jw: its unsettling really to get that no caller id thing but maybe it can get fixed naman if the other people who had their phones upgraded too dont experience that problem:-)

Hmm now im having second thoughts on upgrading... like Tweety said, its much better to stick to what you have as long as you are happy with it and doesn't have any problems with it... *isip*

Hard to decide talaga... one part of me is telling me to "upgrade" another is "wait for the more stable firmware" ...

Atsaka malaking bagay sa akin yung may small font text + yung sa SMS ID.. pambihira naman sila... bakit nagkaroon pa ng ganun?!?!

When thats d basic reason nga y u have a cellphone, and that is to communicate with ur friends,family and clients. But d other things dat goes with it r very appealing...oh well bhala na c batman! @pogie, i don't want to be a kill joy but MMS and GPRS are 2.5G technology only. 3G, malayo pa yun! globe has been testing, testing and launching is different.

@*, if you guys want the font consistency, get the euro version (sabi ni GM). nagmadali lang kami and settled for latin 2. alam na namin ang consequence nito. about the sms id, ngayon lang ako naka pag sync uli ng phonebook ko, so bukas ko pa siguro malalaman kung may problema sa area na yun yung unit ko.

cheers.

@tweety
Oo nga e Parang nakaka-alangan makisabay sa Hype

@arnoldc
Sir ok lang naman ako... mejo i took a week's vacation... actually im off right now but i just have to go online and check you guys out
Kasi the last time i saw the thread the page number was from 60+ tapos biglang ang layo na Well i saw your postings and it seems na Font problem pa lang yung sa iyo. Lets see about the SMS ID thing.. Goodluck! Howdy do?!

Actually its not easy for me to go to smartnet for a phone upgrade since i live in Parañaque and i have work 6 days a week so i need to make sure that my trip is worth the trouble. Don't wanna have to go back and forth to Smartnet just to fix a problem which wasn't there to start with!

So ill be waiting for more feedbacks from you upgraders (guinea pig method ba? )

Pero mahirap magsalita ng tapos diba?! for the meantime dito muna ako sa tabi ni Tweety
