That sound surprisingly suck. It might be the worse front facing camera for the flagship level phone next year.

When sony had 13MP, all I could see all over internet was that it was unnecessary. 7 or 8Mp were more than enough.
Now they put 8, everyone complains. |

Tech sites and tons of comments on reviews.
When other were using 5 or 7MP.
The excuse "megapixels make no difference".
Unless they use more bezel, no space for 1/3" 13MP.

It's ok either a little thick bezel or notch. Poor camera is just way too sad.

The imx557 is currently the MVP sensor on xperia 1II. Hope the rest also using this or better! But I think the size is bigger haha |

If size of the front sensor is an issue they should at least put two side by side and give Af. This could also help with portraits. Also they don't have any higher res video on the front, make it 7mp if it's gonna help with iq.
Same sensor thrice and the lowest end shares that. Sony is taking too long to fix things once again. |

Interesting. I know nothing about display or camera, but what I heard from someone close to battery supplier is battery capacity of next flagship will be substantially larger, probably 4800-5000mah. take it with a grain of salt though. |
