I still say it is a successor to Satio with a dual core processor and a 16mp camera... okay, I'll give it a rest.
I also have doubts they would tease with something that's already leaked/announced. Based on the last few MWC I don't think SE has nothing up their sleeve, they must have some show stopper hidden in their safe.
However, like >500, I wouldn't be surprised if that is Play.
Oh cmon why do we need a 16 mpx camera ? And dual core is pointless. Single core is more than adequate. |

Why? Because Sony Ericsson has 8 and 12 mega pixels camera phones. If a phone with lower mega pixels is announced, people will start moaning about it.
Why dual core? Because LG has the Optimus 2X. And if Sony Ericsson announces a phone with different processor the will start moaning...again.

Why do we need a 12mp camera in phones? Why do we need HD recorders in phones?
Some features are not so useful but to sell an idea to consumers that a 16mp camera is the best camphone there is in terms of quality. Dual core processors are about to get the OS update from Google to fully utilise their power. Also, SE has to be seen to be competing and not following.
FYI, I never said single core processors are inadequate. Hell, I'm getting myself the Xperia Arc when it arrives. What you fail to understand is that everyone is jumping on the dual core processor bandwagon and just like in the single core processors technology progresses and you don't want to be caught napping in hardware terms. As for the camera module, do you honestly believe Sony would develop the module so it can sit and gather dust?
It's funny how you try to act clever when you have made some of the worst 'insider' information blunders. I'm not an insider no do I have or claim to have any inside information but I'm just speculating based on previous SE actions and current industry developments.
By the way, the Japanese SE phone with 16mp camera suggests we might just get the same module as well.

Like someone has already said, Sony are going to want to recoup the development costs for their new 16MP module so I can see it arriving on devices outside of Japan.
The question is, When?
Plus, the 16MP is only an option. There will be other sizes to choose from on the device such as maybe 2MP, 8MP and 12MP.
However, I just wish they'd concentrate on better optics and less megapixels.

I couldn't agree more. In my opinion an 8mp camera on a phone is more than enough for everyday use. So Sony Ericsson is doing a good job improving the optics of the camera, adding Exmor R to the 8mp camera module of Arc and Neo. In the future, when the cost of a decent 12mp or 16 mp camera module for a phone will be right they will add one to a more camera sophisticated phone, filling the needs of that part of the market share.

I'm just wondering, why the Mini's got the lowest leaks in WMC phones range even thought we know about them, and there's too much interest for these too...
really hope to see more leaks regarding them even thought it's only less than a week for WMC but leaks are sometimes nice
any way... closer being to the ann.. harder it becomes to wait !!

I have to say that the Arc has a very, very good camera for an 8mp module. What I've seen of the shots from the phone is impressive indeed.

@Michalis3
I know the Arc pictures are very good but why no more Xenon enabled cameras on their phones? Should we not expect Android + Xenon from this year?
