Thanks prom for that comment on my post. As for coloured phones. Yeah i'd love a red one. I like the blue tho. I still miss the old days of the nokia's with changeable fascia's. I loved having that option |

Actually that would be about 3 weeks after they will have launched the K850.
And I don't see any problem with that since they did the same thing with the K810 and the K850. |

You BET! Blue since the first photos leaked, for me!
But down the road I think some Side-Housing swapping is gonna be happening. I want the edges to be black.
Imagine this this as a (product)RED unit. Red D-Pad, Deep Red glow, black housing, red trim around the edges.
Flash RED theme - like that ghost walkman theme but in Red. That would be killer.
Also SE NEEDS to start some philantropic work in the eye of the public. Some Red product device on a HIGH end scale would trump other manufacturer's efforts in offering red products as NONE has offered their high end as a (product)RED unit.
I agree with you, I'd certanly buy the blue one if it was black as green.
The confusing fact for me is that on Youtube and on GSM Arena you can see videos/photos showing the blue version of K850i and in most of the countries the green one will come out first.

This phone is going to cost me a lot of money. I dont know if i'm going to get it straight away. I wish i'd have saved money for it. Just bad timing means i dont think i can get it straight away |

Well it's allmost allways smart to wait at least two months or more. The price will always drop. And i do think it drops more on SE:phones then for instance nokia phones.
But it can't wait! I'm gonna sell my N73 and get this one soooo fast! |

Can't wait to buy it,i`m gonna post pics and videoz with the phone,if any thread pops out for posting them.
I hope the next Cyber-Shot will not have this big distance of time release between, like k800 and k850. |

Yup. And the thing that bothers me- the glass or plastic lens cover(will collect al lot of smudges), i'll have to solve with having a piece of display film over it, lifting it of when it's photo time. Also i will keep my phone in a soft case off course.

Yes, I'm a bit disappointed with this. 1. because you can't start the camera without using the camera button or menu (and presumably have to unlock the keypad in order to start the camera). Not good. I've loved the active lense covers of K750/K800, for ease of access to the camera. (unless there is some other way?)
and 2. because the lens protector is not recessed it will be subject to smudges AND scratches (aka W810)
bugger!
