Hey buddy, how much did you pay for your 6680? I am still waiting for Tahir with a answer on the selling price but he seems to be just as unreliable as his comments ;-) and have you tried another charger ? - regarding your charging problem. Also 3G seems to kill the battery on all the phones and networks all over the world about 2-3 times faster then EDGE (when mobile !).This is a well known fact by now (check all over the net) and certainly adds to the pathetic 3G public acceptance :-(

I tried my old 3650's charger as well. Same problem. I need to switch it off, or else it won't charge. I hope there are software updates available to sort it out.

BTW, I ordered my phone from Vodacom Direct. I extended my Talk 120 contract, but I had to pay in an additional R1209 for the phone.

Thanks for the answer :-) I hope your problem can be solved by a software upgrade, but I think is a hardware problem :-( I've just checked on the nokia forums I visit and no one experienced something like that, which means the firmware upgrade may not even consider 'fixing' a non existent fault (from a mass production point of view) Why don't you just report the problem and have the phone replaced ? This will be a logical step, would'nt it ? :-)

hey... umm.... yeah (a reply of a previous topic) I know that 3G sucks your battery power... so when i'm not using 3G and know that the signal is too weak for a Video Call, etc. I turn the settings to GSM Only. When its GSM Only my V800 keeps powerd for 4days very frequent use and 8.5 days of a normal (mom & dad style) use. When on 3G...3days of very frequent use. Dunno how long on normail use.

It sucks that my contract can renew now! I wished it could've renewed next year... because there isn't actually excellent 3G mobiles. The V800 is really really the best mobile I used so far and I love it! I want a better mobile ....smaller....better battery life....etc. This is just a and-by.

Umm..... how old is everyone? (Brix you don't have to answer

@ssls... I'm 27...and about you're post count... According to laffen and masseur posts in the regional forums don't count towards you're total posts... A classic example is myself, I've posted more than 500 posts but because most of then are in the SA discussion they don't count...guess what I don't care!

@ sIssIs,
Strange seeing such a common UK network slogan in the SA thread...what prompted you?

Hell, I feel like a bit of a 'toppie' here as regards age...at 34.
Can anyone beat that? I think Uncle Bob is the same age, tho.
