Why the change of heart - above you were saying you thought a mid/end of July was realistic?
Don't suppose you'd care to mention which supplier it would be that is claiming availability this coming Friday?
Don't suppose they have a price too do they?

Wich online seller or store can pre-book this baby? in sweden that is.

My biggest problem is if I buy a new phone im obligated to buy a new one to my gf, lucky for me she doesnt dig the big Pseries. Think ill buy the m600 that is supposed to come out with camera.

As much as I want to purchase a P990, the M600 has arrived at the store from which I purchase my phones in Canada. So, I guess the M600 did beat the P990.

All we know right now is that SE is going to do another dog and pony show here in Singapore for the P990i.

I found the following msg at the gsmarena.com. The msg was posted a few days ago under p990.

Hi ppl, SE P990i is available in Malaysia at RM 2993.00. I just got it 2 weeks ago. Love the phone after my SE P910i. SE P990i is replication of 910i with just extra function. Feel is the same but at slightly heavier. Reception is good, vibration is felt, so you will never miss a call while phone is in the pocket or noisy places. Use it as modem to acess internet.good and reliable data transfer but use bluetooth is not preferred use cable or other means. Keys tactile and feedback is good. Anyway I will write again after 3 months of usage. thanks

Right just a really quick question on psh e-mail, my understanding of this is it alerts you when you have a new e-mail right?

Annnnnnnd, can you have more than one e-mail addresses linked to the phone? I have many accounts

The push email is just like the blackberry, it doesnt alert you., it actually recieves the email.

You need to have a supported service such as intellisync, RIM or one of the others.

You just register your phone with your server on our case Intellisync. The phones GPRS is always on and the server knows your IP address. Whenever it detects an email has arrived in your mailbox it will then forward this onto your IP address. If your GPRS drops the software on the phone simply re-registers the IP with the server.

Push is fantastic, we use it with our P900's (you have to install the software) and intellisync but you will need a corporate email server such as Lotus Domino, Outlook or Groupwise. You cant use it for POP3 as your POP3 server doesnt support the push protocols.

Another note, ive had it waiting. Im saying bye bye SE and symbian and hello Windows mobile 5. You can only wait so long and being almost 6 months late it is just taking the pi55 a little.

I think I'm leaving symbian also and will be heading for wm5. It's just too long waiting, and all that time i did an inquiry about wm5 and htc's models and I'm impressed!

At the end of the day wm5 is just another computer. Not as much fun as Symbian. Been there done that. I stay with Symbian.

I understand what you mean, but what are we expecting from a smartphone as well? To act like a computer. So we have an OS and we can run and install software.
Why is Symbian more fun?
Ok, it's more simple and you won't get problems like wm5 if you play around with the registry or something else.
But in wm5 you have more possibilities (and software)
