Welcome back Wanqa!!:-)
Hobbs
Its great, ive been using it as my main phone this week, it amazes how much the SE UI has improved, a lot of 's60 like' apps like MobyExplorer which is a lot like X-Plore, MobilePDF, and DocViewer which are like Adobe PDF and Quickoffice. And im loving all the litte cool things SE have put in, like when booting up the phone theres a nice lil vibration followed by a Blue ring of light around the D-pad,and around the camera lense, same thing happens when booting the camera and the nice sound of the automatic camera lense opening and shutting as wel as the little 'pop' sound the Xenon flash makes when shooting a pic,HSDPA via OperaMini is insanely fast i wonder how much better it is for those paying extra for 3.6mbps, 1.8mbps is already more than fast enough, and let me not even start on the amazing screen and flash themes. i love it.
Gola.
WOW i wonder how he got it. You must try get your hands on it bro

JC and Gola
What website do you get your phone's apps from? I found this: http://user.wap3.org it has a few nice ones.

Hiya Muhammad i'm also wondering whether it may not have been one of the Fong Kong clones floating about... although, to be honest, it may very well have been an N96, it's not entirely outside the bounds of possibility... not when one considers the insanity, financial and otherwise, taking place next door in Zimbabwe I mean, just look at amount of dosh they need to lay out on a single 750ml bottle of beer

I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Don't be so sure. Theres around 4people at my school with an N95-8GB, 3 with N82, and quite a lot with N95s,including primary school kids, ive seen a few kids in the primary school with SE K800s and a grade8 with an i-Mate Jamin and another with a SE P990, I blame MTN and their great pricing of phones. anyway im in matric and some of my friends have some top end phones, one has both N95-8gb and N82 whilest another has a N82 and the classic SE P910. The majority at school own some kind of Nseries phone, from the N70 to N95.

Thanks for all the (prodigal?) welcomes, guys.

@ gola:
Hmm, perhaps the oke's dad/relative is a beta tester for one of the networks, like celltech is.
Either he then took the handset on the quiet or his dad/relative breached some serious levels of work conditions there by allowing him to show it off. (the former possibility sounds more plausible though, but I'm simply speculating of course).
Just a thought..

@ Hobbster:
Let me know what's your M.O. for the next week boet, if you can, as the in-laws have a whole buncha stuff planned out right up until we leave for East London next Thursday. We're already gonna be away the whole weekend to some resort near the gateway of the Cederberge, i.e. Citrusdal, plus there's the boat trip from Cape Point to the V&A Waterfront planned, then off to Paarl and Stellenbosch etc etc.

@ JC:
Will be posting the memory card off to you tomorrow, boet.

We might be leaving over the weekend Wangs if we can finish off some loose ends here first but I'll let you know if things change.Sounds like you have a busy week ahead of you bro.Hopefully this weather will turn soon and you can get some Cape Town sun.Hope you had a fab day today and just relaxed.

Just downloaded Nokia's Internet Radio to see whats its all about.Logged on through my Wlan connection to UK 1fm Trance and listened to about 35 seconds of that station.(awesome station by the way) Exited the app and then checked my LOG and to my suprise it had used 2.8mb's of data. Now that my friend makes listening to Internet radio an impossibility unless you have an unlimited data plan
