Yeah, and they run Vista too on solid state memory or optional HDD. Not sure if thats a good thing or not...
I like those AW Vaiotoo. I saw one on Friday with an 18.4" screen, couldn't take my eyes of it.

Does anyone else find it weird that apparently we're not getting the W715 (the Vodafone version of the W705), yet we are supposedly getting the W705 here?
Anyone else thinking this could be a Telecom/Black+White release?

Finally a Mobile network who recognises how good SE products really are.
I've heard talk that Telecom are reinventing themselves as a VOIP company so I wouldn't get too excited about their Mobile network, it's liable to go off in the direction of Wimax and that would really screw things up.
They've already had two dead-end technologies, they should get away with HSDPA850 so long as the follow Telstra Australia's lead but if they dive into Wimax they may not recover.
I intend getting a Telecom USB modem just to test the speeds of their network from time to time, you know, to keep Vodafone on their toes.

Yeah I will probably get a Telecom simcard (I think my C902 uses the 850 band) just to check out their service, but I'm not holding any high hopes!
Anyway, I saw that advertisement on a bus stop as I was driving home from work through a bad part of Christchurch last night. I stopped and turned around just to take a photo of it!

I thought it was 9.7% too, but the Telecom website says otherwise. It does look as though there's a decimal point in there though. I think it's just dirt.

i was gonna say! 9.7 percent wouldnt be very convincing!
I was going to sign up to a vodafone contract but with telecom starting up in june i should wait and see what they offer first.
Ive changed my mind about nokia 5800 and im now going to get the LG Renoir in a couple of months. |
