Mine lasts 1 day too with normal use. 2days at the most if i barely touch it. Ppl say its normal for a smartphone but its not! I had about 8smartphones (4 of them touchscreens too) and satio has the worst battery life by far... With the same usage i give satio i will have about 2-3-4days with all the other phones. But i supposed its normal since SE was not able to give us a properly firmware and decided to put a 1000mh battery of a dumbphone in a smartphone with that huge screen Like Mr Versatile said... this is all a strategy to make us spend money every 6months-1year... |

So you think it's mainly the firmware problem. I was thinking about the battery capacity; even if they put 2000mAh battery in it, it wouldn't last long. If now last for one day only, then it would last for around 2 days which again wouldn't be normal for that big capacity.
It is strange though, this phone reminds me on some kind of notebooks/netbooks where battery last for a few hours.
Almost useless.

Only time with future firmwares will tell if the 1000mh battery is enough or not... i have a feeling that it wont but at least i want to never run out of battery in less than 1day when i cant charge it like happened a few times... This phone needed a 1500mh just like samsung did with omnia hd or at least 1200. My n85 got 1200mh and lasts 3-4 days.
A couple of years ago SE was the best around with battery life but now they seem to stuck with their old batteries and not realise that they are not enough for todays phone demands. To bad for them because now if they release a new phone with much better specs than satio and x10 combined but with another crapy battery i wont buy it. |

the problem with SE is that they always limit the phones specs depending on the remaining produced parts from older models, like for the 2'' and 2.4'' screens that lasted 3 years while nokiu was already on the 2.6 and 2.8''.
SE will think ''oh we still have 20000 pieces of 1000mah batteries, instead of throwing them away let's implement them in the new phone model''

Disappointing to hear and read about an SE with weak battery life, why couldnt they use that 1120mAh batt from the P1? Not enough space?
Anyway what ive noticed with some smartphones is that if you use the camera, gps, gallery or some other resource hungry app when you close it it doesnt totaly close,it leaves a Process in the RAM so that next time you want to open that app it opens and loads quickly, try it eg. Open the Gallery then Exit then open again it should open quicker, and im assuming with apps that access hardware eg. Camera/Geotagging= GPS and Camera , Maps= GPS etc. . .they tend to take more power even after shutting them down, that could explain Larry's batt dying so quickly, only way to "cure" this is to give the phone a reboot after using GPS or Camera, and especialy after using both.

Mine last at least 3 days or day and half with heavy usage but decreasing brightness to 80% drak-grey zone, battery optimized seem fine for me, but stableness cuz me mad last two days even simple job can't performed properly given hard reset and re-update via SEUS still found in random occasion which is very frustrate to me.
Symbian crap for me anyway

I think the Satio is so strange!
I have to charge it after 3 days with normal use of sms and thelephone, some internet etc.
So why people need to charge it everyday?..
And i got mine 2/3 months now en realy no reboots or chashes!! This is the first time for me that a phone is so stable..

Good Day all So all you contacts are in order this what you are saying So if you three numbers to one name all 3 numbers are under the same name because mine is 3 seperate number along with the same name 3 times my satio works good but this apparantly is the only problem /bug i have |

what i have noticed is a different profile from my P1i, playing music would drain the P1i much faster than the satio but if just normal usage the P1i lasts longer, I carry a spare battery in my wallet for the satio just in case I need it. |

How is the calander feature compaired to my P1i ?
Are the features the same/worse/better ?
I find the calander app on my old UIQ phones (P1i,G900,W960) is ideal and would like the same type in my next phone. |
