Its his guilty concience talking he knows he's being biasd but i will say WM is slower and more power hungry than Symbian by far, but its also a lot more customizable, never thought i'd want one until my mum got the S710 VOX and a friend got the P3400,both are a lil outdated but they are so much more "open" than my N81.

If Sepultura's album Chaos A.D. established the band as more than just another death metal outfit, Roots expands both its search for identity and its quest for sheer aural destruction. Frontman Max Cavalera explores his past in "Roots, Bloody Roots" and "Endangered Species," and plays with a remote Brazilian tribe on "Rattamahatta". Elsewhere, Sepultura experiments with minor-key dynamics and atonal harmonics, imbuing their wall of noise with an oppressive sense of mystery. They also extend their musical horizons, adding clattering tin drums and what sounds like a jew's-harp to "Breed Apart," and garnishing "Lookaway" with DJ scratching, half-speed vocals, and a gothic, chiming mid-section. --The Hobbsters Album review,NOT

Sorry for the delayed responses now; the phone's been ringing with extended family finalising things for the holiday etc.

Firstly, thanks guys.

Secondly, I haven't had a chance to really fiddle with the KC550 yet. All these pics of the phone were taken with the P1i.
I took a quick pic in the low-lit lounge last night, and initially, to my utter horror, the tardy viewfinder response and 'noise' in the viewfinder nearly flattened my battery. (Kinda like when I fist had the 2mp Panasonic VS6).
Then I scrolled through the settings and wow, there was the reason: the phone has SIX ISO settings, and a whopping pre-set ISO 800 was causing this. I set it on the very low ISO 80, et voila! What a difference! Phew, a bit of a scare there.

Will upload some KC550 pics tonight, but dunno when I'll have a chance to do a proper comparison due to a very busy schedule before we fly on Tuesday, but I'll try.

LMAO.

Hey Hobbster:
That was a quick reference search on my all-time fave metal album, LOL.

Dang, apparently the Table Mountain cable car is not operating for 6 weeks, due to maintenance etc. How dof is that; maintenance in the busiest overseas tourist month.
Bugger; there goes Wanqa's hopes of some nice cellphone pics from atop 'die berg'.

Right, next we'll have to try Cape Point or Robben Island...

Bugger cable cars, Wanqa, have ye heard of this nifty beverage called Red Bull?
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Red Bull. What a rip off.Just buy a Fast Forward choclate bar for R6.00.But beware off the comedown and there is a comedown. They should ban it even if its just because you get left with a blue tongue.
