Hey AYA...that letter was hilarious...someone should teach these conmen proper grammar and sentence structure because they betrayed the fact that they never went beyond a certain level at school. |

No; Pay as you go can only access WAP. You have to get on a contract to be eligible for full internet

@coola: Just one? That's easy. My business site http://www.domainstandard.net has been making hundreds of thousands of naira since April 2003. We run EVERYTHING off that site, from new orders through support issues. As a matter of fact, we only advertise our services like once in 4 months now, since the site generates its own traffic now, such that new business comes in consistently on a weekly basis. Take a look

Anothr thng I observd about Glo s tht their claim tht one can glo wherever one goes isnt a fluke. Its d only network tht has coverd entire length & breadth of Lagos-Benin-Onitsha express way to date.MTN's unbeatable coverage hs been beaten.

Problem is with the performance of their GPRS platform. It does not 'glo' everywhere. Actually, it can be irritating.

that's true, glo gprs isn't available in owerri and enugu.
I hope Mtel will be better. |

@ihe: With Mtel getting aboard the GPRS platform, Glo will stop bragging about being the only 2.5g network in Nigeria and get their GPRS working better.

@coola: GoSmartMobile.com just took off last month, and we are yet to start the publicity drive, but when we do, I expect it to also start raking in some money too.
I must be candid with you, most Naija sites don't make money because the people behind those sites go about it the wrong way (I should know since I am in the industry). Unless there is a change of approach...
